Yes, 3% of the portfolio and now the sp is down 3% since the announcement so fully written down. And of course the share buyback will be at a cheaper price now so better value for existing / future shareholders. I don't currently hold here but looking to take a position if the sp drops below 50p again, yield nearly 11% at the current price.

LSE dividend data is invariably out of date or simply inaccurate Ken. Check the KMR "at a glance" data on HL for latest / historic dividends, updated on a daily basis. Currently showing KMR dividend at 9.4%.

on Thursday, all-important Spring sales news so hopefully the catalyst for some positive movement here. Anything in the "trading in line with" or better territory should be enough to give a little boost. Hope so anyway.

Actually they're almost telling us what to expect. 50+% of expected profits = c. £33m so that should equate to c. 3p interim & c. 6p final with a potential special this time next year if they outperform.

Yes, in effect a second special dividend for the year. It will be interesting to see the interims in July when we should get more idea about the 2023 dividend level - if it's going to stay above 12p that'd be very nice thank you!

Hi Sam, you can opt to have dividends reinvested (rather than held as cash) in HL which should meet your need. There's no charge for the reinvestment, although you do have to accumulate an amount (£200 from memory) before the purchase is triggered. That shouldn't be an issue for you given the amount of dividend you must be collecting from your holding!

Here's the HL position on this:
"Where possible we will claim reduced withholding tax payments on US and Canadian stocks for investors who have provided us with a valid W-8BEN form. However, we will not reclaim tax credits on dividends or income from any other foreign countries."
Clear and unequivocal, unfortunately. I'm guessing if the big boys won't play then there's not much chance of the minnows helping out here - unless anyone knows differently? In theory there's a Double Taxation Convention in place between the UK & SA which could reduce the tax on dividends from 20% to 10%.

Yes I think you've summarised that correctly Sam, that's certainly my understanding. I've held my TMIP shares in an ISA with HL since day one. As you say, the dividend is paid in £ with no conversion necessary. They normally announce the conversion rate to be used about 2 weeks before dividend payment day so look out for that. I've had no problems trading the share as TMIP in my ISA whether buying or selling. I use the Stockwatch function in Shares Magazine (AJ Bell) for live pricing but for some reason they show TMI data but don't offer live pricing for TMIP. I've asked why but no reply. That's the only issue I've had with TMIP though, everything else has been straightforward. I think I'm right in saying HL will assume you want your dividends paying in £ sterling unless you tell them otherwise but you might want to check that with them. K

To be fair DP64 there were some encouraging messages in the RNS this morning. However, if they think that using extra paperwork as an excuse for not making Dr_H's forecast £6 million profit they're going to have to try harder.

One of the worst colbalt but sadly not THE worst for me. See VOG, HAWK, CTT, DDDD, TRP, KDNC, SCIR off the top of my head, I know there are others. But I own the decisions to buy, no-one to blame but myself. Fortunately I've had more luck elsewhere so enjoying a comfortable retirement.

Same here atrm2, this is about 2% of my portfolio now and that's enough for me. My average is just over 111 so quite happy to hold for now.
