The analysts had their presentation an hour earlier and the response was to mark the SP down 5%. Would like to have been a fly on the wall for that one! Bottom line is, the market consistently does not believe what the company is saying. Time will tell.

From today's edition of Shares Magazine, studying the fastest growing companies in the £500 million to £1 billion sector of the UK market: "Instant service vending equipment maker ME International (MEGP) delivered its fourth consecutive year of double-digit profit growth in 2024, driven by the continued rollout of its automated Revolution laundry machines.

The company installed a record 1,111 machines in the year across 211 locations largely in France and the UK, driving 21% revenue growth in constant currencies. The laundry division generates higher margins than the photobooth business and is expected to be a key driver of future profit growth." MEGP ranks 5th overall with SP increase of 77% so far in 2024.

From today's Shares Magazine, referring to analysts at Morningstar "Housebuilders top their list of sector calls, having been ‘through the wringer’ due to the pandemic: the team sees as much as 50% potential upside thanks to lower mortgage rates and supportive government policy."

Yes, pushing 12-month highs in September and now at 12-month low. Not a great 3 months for the SP but potentially a good time to be adding? I'll be doing so before Christmas once funds arrive from elsewhere.

JA didn't get any of my money, it went west during the "glowing in the dark" fiasco along with many £millions of his own cash. The only thing glowing in the dark was my ar$e after it got spanked. Everyone makes mistakes, what's important is to learn from them and not repeat them.

Oh wow, I was hoping for a positive rerate this month but this has gone way beyond! Fantastic news!! I really didn't see that coming, very welcome indeed. Glad to see they intend maintaining the TMIP ticker as well as TMI under the new classification, I find it easier to follow when the SP is listed in £ and of course we receive dividends in £ here too. Just need those charter rates to start improving in the New Year now - fingers crossed on that one!

He's a pretty unsavoury character but on this occasion he's quite right. TRP has turned my investment of £13,258.35 into £1.24,. I keep the rump as a reminder that, however successful I think I've been elsewhere and whatever lifestyle I enjoy as a result, there are always dangers out there.

This share pays a nice little dividend but is still essentially a growth share. The rate of growth appears to have slowed (that might be perception rather than reality) and the market has reacted negatively. Still plenty to like here, as you say Glowacki a buying opportunity at this level perhaps.

Each to their own T_o_D as you say. Every time I monkey around with my portfolio things tend to go badly wrong, so I buy & hold these days. I guess that's the difference between a trader & an investor - no right or wrong, whatever works for you.

Well, would you believe it?? No sooner have they told us we won't see anything this side of the New Year they're now going to pay 52p by way of a redeemable bonus share on 24th December (thank you) plus a 3p dividend to come on 10th January! There will eventually be a further payment (probably another bonus share) once the fund is wound up, hopefully another 9p+. Good to see this being resolved so quickly for shareholders.

Thanks, interesting read in the context of the recent InvestorMeet presentation with similar messages being given. Hoping for a slow & steady recovery now towards my average which is just below 90p.

My recent buy here has reduced my average to just above 67p so still a way to go to break even. I'm not too concerned tbh because I'm here for the long-term income and still feel the sp will recover as interest rates reduce and sentiment improves. Accepting that may take some time now. It'll be a VERY nice payday in July if they do make 4p payment for the final qtr!

Yes Dave, but the market doesn't believe them or the sp wouldn't be where it is. The company previously confirmed a very elaborate method of calculating the dividend when we were getting 2p/qtr and then abandoned it without explanation, no reason why they shouldn't do the same again. Obviously I hope they pay the full 7p but I'm certainly not banking on it.

Trouble is this is now 2 years of steady decline, so it's going to take some reversing. The market simply doesn't buy the story. However, as I've said, I'm buying at this level simply because I believe the worst-case scenario (4p dividend) is now priced into the SP. Just hoping that the recent dip below 50p marked the low point here and that things are set to improve.

Never mind £1, how about 1p for Christmas? That would do for me dior.

Just that nagging £1/2 million a year loss to reverse then Dr_H & we'll all be in clover.
