Sub 55p this morning, the market simply doesn't believe the 7p dividend forecast.

Mind you, even if they only pay out 4p in total this year (and surely that's achievable??) that would be 7%+ at the current SP.

I probably get 5 or 6 emails a day flagging transactions in own shares (or "trannies" as I refer to them) from companies in my portfolio. I can't say I've seen much benefit so far, but once the effect of a couple more reductions in interest rates go through hopefully it'll begin to make sense. The nailed-on 2c/qtr dividend here is going to make it difficult for TMIP to follow the herd though.

Barbarossa increasing their holding again, no reason to think their agenda is anything but positive for the company so far at least.

That would be price-sensitive information and SAR would be legally bound to release it. Imagine a scenario down the line where tox concerns became an issue and it was revealed that they emerged during P1a but SAR didn't release that information. The directors could go to jail.

Appreciate there will be some on here who are frustrated by this morning's news and I can fully understand why. It's been a long wait & there's no end in sight yet. However, we now know:

Toxicology results confirm no significant adverse events, and no difference between the dosed group & the placebo group in terms of mild and moderate effects.

There is "strong evidence that safe blood levels of SDC-1801 were able to significantly inhibit major inflammatory pathways", so the P1 trial objective has been achieved.

The HNWI(s) and other investors, new or existing, are happy to buy/add at 20p having recently had the opportunity to buy at 10p.

SAR is now funded to take 1801 through the next phase of safety testing which puts us in a much stronger position to negotiate a deal going forward.

By definition, their positions are "Non-Executive". They'll be able to provide support & advice to the main Board directors, and may be able to do a bit of glad-handing to help open one or two doors that would otherwise remain closed, but they won't be negotiating deals. That's the job of the Executives on the Board, and their support staff.

I see, thanks Aber. £3 - £5 would be life-changing for me so it would be churlish to say it doesn't appeal, but if 1801 developed into the first-line treatment for psoriasis in 10 years time, given the size of the market, I believe we would look back on it & think we'd given it away at that price. Interesting to get some context though, thanks again.
