TD I agree, it does seem strange logic. The price has ticked up nicely since that April post, but I guess everyone has their own agenda. This isn't a short-term investment for me, I'm hoping to add some more on any dips on the basis it pays a decent, steady dividend and is growing over time. Just wish I'd known about it sooner.

Wow, that's some detailed and useful advice you're getting from Benbow. I think I'll butt out at this stage as it appears I.I. works slightly differently to my broker, and as you're going to be with I.I. soon it's best you follow Benbow's lead. I will just say again, as you still refer to a transfer of shares, you can't transfer shares to an ISA, they have to be sold and re-bought, exactly as Benbow describes. Good luck MinTid.

stt1, I'm sure you're aware all the builders are down today. From what I can see, PSN have fared better than most. It's the prospect of inflation that's twitching the markets, not the leasehold issue. People will always buy new homes. TW. is the least exposed of the major builders to fallout from the leasehold issue and has made most provision, but is still down more than the others today.

MinTid, you can't transfer shares from a trading a/c to an ISA. You have to sell & re-buy. You don't need to worry about losing shares, as Benbow says just instruct your broker to re-buy the same amount in your ISA. Once the shares are sold in your share a/c, they'll transfer the money to your ISA and re-buy them in there. That's why it's important to use the Bed & ISA service, otherwise you have to sell the shares, transfer the money to your ISA and re-buy them, all of which will cost you. I'd be very wary if my broker didn't understand Bed & ISA, that's the specific service you need. Out of interest, which broker are you using? Someone on here might have experience with them. You've got until the beginning of April 2022 to sort it out, so no need to rush in until you're sure about them. K

Yes I've done Bed and ISA transfers (and Bed & SIPP, for info) several times in the past. It's really quite frustrating that my broker (Hargreaves Lansdown) is currently using Covid as an excuse to reduce their service (not their charges, obviously...) and isn't currently offering Bed & ISA. If I recall, you can choose to transfer the same amount of shares, the spread is minimal or in some cases the same trade price, so you just end up paying the normal dealing fees. Have a look on your broker's website, or give them a call. It's an excellent way of transferring shares out of a standard trading a/c into an ISA or SIPP. I'm not in a hurry to move my shares over so will wait for now and hope HL reintroduce the service once we get back to "normal". I'll be interested to hear how you get on, good luck with it. K

OK rv84, happy to be corrected. I wonder if this has anything to do with the requirements for qualification to hold in an ISA? Not of concern though, as you say.

Ahfam, I'm happy with the "during 2021" timescale which looks realistic, end of summer might be described as a "stretch target" perhaps? Either way, it's really not that long to wait in the context of a 2011 investment...

Sorry potnak, they're hypothetical millionaires not ACTUAL millionaires. As you know, many LTH's post regularly on here that they're not selling a single share until x, y or z price. They will only become millionaires once they've banked any gains and, as you've often pointed out, the failure rate for biotechs is extremely high. Just saying...

Thanks for asking, all well really. I have a prostate the size of a grapefruit but the "growth" is benign. I'm supposed to be starting on Tamsulosin to help with my waterworks and Finasteride to shrink the prostate. My GP practice claims not to have received the hospital letter (electronically...) so that's delayed things. I've been on the phone all morning - the joys of dealing with the "modern" NHS. Anyway, of all the possible outcomes, this is about the best I could have hoped for. One of the side-effects of Finasteride is hair regrowth apparently so I might need to borrow the curlers at some point.

I wouldn't worry about it, a retrace is healthy bearing in mind we got here from 1p on the back of "there may be good news to come" and a HNWI taking a punt.
