The headlines say, BP bumper profit of £4b sparks criticism.
This county has gone completely mad. Profit is now deemed outrageous.
I thought the whole idea of a business is to make a profit
Maybe BP should Identify as a non profit company instead.
Maybe Enquest can identify as a green oil producer.

We drop like a stone as oil prices fall but we don't seem to follow it back up, Brent up over 2 bucks from yesterdays lows but we haven't moved.

Our producers must form a group and challenge the government in court.

Looking back over the past 3 years we have gained zero value even with the debt falling so much. How can we have a market cap less than we had when Brent was $50 and our debt level was $1.8b
Just proves how much this government has cost us. We are valued as junk

We are sitting on the yearly lows now, if something doesn't happen we could easily be back into single figures here.
The board could easily stop this if they wanted.

Buy backs would have stopped the rot.

We are stuck in limbo, we are waiting on our financial obligations for this year to be settled, a floor to the EPL and shareholder returns. But all that depends on the price of oil and demand not falling off due to global recession and a new strain of covid.
And on top of all that we have eco terrorists to fight against

I think it’s far to easy for the short side to control the market nowadays, they even overwhelm fundamentals which isn’t right in my opinion. Fear is easily manipulated

Unless our North sea producers take this vile government to court over the unfair EPL charge nothing will happen, We have allowed these politicians to lie to the public blaming producers for the high energy costs when we all know its not them. Unless we call them out and demand the EPL be removed they will kill off our North sea industry
We must all write to our MP's demanding the EPL be removed or a floor around $100 a barrel.

We aren’t to far off where we were during lockdown.
This is a joke and our government is to blame.
