HBR merger say 30p per Enquest shares into the equivalent HBR current SP would be a fantastic outcome for all involved. I would then be able to hold on to my stock without too much worry and receive shareholder returns.

What really annoys me is these activists are either from a rich background and don't need to work or from the great unwashed who chose to live off the system being paid for by the hard working people of this country. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you !

The only reason we don't see pro oil and Gas protestors if they don't have the time due to work commitments and running their homes.

It does sound like the windfall tax was announced through gritted teeth. But with Labour shouting what the voter wanted to hear what else could they do ? Now they must start informing the public that a change must be made to it before it damages our economy and ultimately higher energy bills

The truth is we need North sea oil and Gas and our energy security more than ever, Labour can say what ever they like to please the voter but when it comes to the crunch they can't and won't put the UK in that position as the consequences would be catastrophic.

There's only one way to keep the North sea heathy and that's to put a floor under the EPL or remove it altogether. They don't have much time left to do it either.

Red everyday, 45% down in 6 months. BP up 1.4% over the past 6 months. They must be laughing at the rest of the UK producers believing the UK was more stable than the African countries.

HBR to buy us out at say a 25p share swop, HBR can use up the tax credits over the next 3 years lifting there/our share price and pay a heathy dividend.

How low is this going ffs ? We had a higher SP during lockdown with $40 oil

Can’t believe how rotten our luck has been holding EnQuest, with the looming Loonie left about to get in to power next year I don’t see any way forward for us or the North Sea, we look doomed, they will nationalise our profits and remove our Tax credits. Only way out is an imminent takeover and use up the credits within the next 18 months.

It’s the largest single trade of Enquest shares I’ve ever seen. Looks like a sell to me but who knows
