RE: O/T EV's29 Mar 2023 09:58
I have one of my customers cars here, its now up for sale due to the 20mph speed limits in London where he lives, he says the 20 mph speed limits are a joke and don't help with the congestion problem and he now cant stand being cut up and over taken by lunatic's on push bikes, breaking all traffic laws. - Public transport and walking for him now.
The car is a 4.5 year old Tesla S 100d - cost £96400 its now only worth £31k - I have tried to sell it for him, none of the dealers want it due to the age of the batteries, So with this car coming up 5 years old and replacement batteries so expensive what do we do with them ? You could recycle it but that a problem as only 53% can be recycled and the rest is toxic waist.
The public won't put up with such a expensive loss with these EV's
