Mrc what I should have said was the damaged parts for the transformers will be available, no need to replace the complete transformer, but like rebuilding an engine.

Enquest have been in this position many times before and always get it sorted out, I’m sure they know exactly what’s caused the issue from the data on the screens. The sensors will have recorded everything as it happened.

The transformers will be a part readily available from the manufacturer and are probably already on their way while they carry out the maintenance programme, it’s water off a ducks back for Enquest and the team. It affects Bumi because of penalties and costs they will incur.

They said they tried to restart the system but it failed, so it can’t be that bad. Pump failures are common and have to be expected, They are bringing the maintenance shutdown forward to be done now while they change the pump. So shouldn’t cause much damage to the year’s production forecast.

Things are going to tighten up quickly as world wide investment is at record lows

Won’t make much difference as they will bring the Q3 planned maintenance shut down forward while they repair the problem

A cut would be seen as negative, if they hold without change then I see that as positive. The market has priced in a balanced market

What puzzles me is the market cap of both ITH and SQZ compared to ours. We are valued so much less than both of these compared to assets/production/debt it doesn't add up.

Why is the question ?

Worried sick but we have been in this position on more than one occasion but this time round oil prices are sill high enough for us to make a profit and our debt is at the lowest point for over 9 years, we are on the cusp of shareholder returns and that wouldn't be possible if we were in in deep shiite.

This is just market over reacting to more negative news. - We are in a 7 year bull market apparently so we shouldn't see oil price fall far from current levels.

Only thing thats playing on my mind is why AB hasn't bought more stock.

I've noticed social media is starting to turn against Labour over its stance on the oil and Gas, Labour were in a perfect position to win the next GE but now I think they've thrown it away and will hand it back to the conservatives. The conservatives must act on this and do the complete opposite with a balance approach on both oil/gas and green energy. Reduce the Windfall Tax to a floor of $90 with a further tax incentive to invest in green energy. It would create new Jobs and investment in the sector. Reviving the North Sea industry will be a vote winner and a big boost to our economy.

The pressure is building on the government.

We got down to 8p during lockdown with oil -$20 at this rate we should be able to beat that and get down to 7p with Oil in the $60’s.
