I don't think B of D cares about current SP and "alleviating the ongoing angst" much atm, they are probably super busy getting it done and that's the current priority. All we can do is to wait and play it long-term, and yes it may be a long and painful one!

Agree. Completely unacceptable. Fraser & BOD take full responsibility if that's the case. They already mismanaged price sensitive information once this year and every situation like that will only trigger more fear.

But it is buying at current prices and future capital appreciation that will allow you to receive dividends one day.
Whether you decide to keep it all in SXX shares or spread it over ten different businesses paying annual dividends at a similar annual rate or even cash out, is entirely up to you.

It doesn't really matter. Investing in Sirius at the current prices and risk levels means investing for capital appreciation, not dividends. You can take your potential X fold return in a few years time and invest for a stable dividend return somewhere else. The name of the game is to multiply your capital here. You can then take it and invest at a 5% percent or so, diversify or do wherever. You may be even able to find a better dividend deal somewhere else. It doesn't really matter, capital appreciation and ROI do.

It's not. Only because your surgeon saved your leg from amputation but completely messed up multiple joints operations and left you with permanent long term defect affecting your ability to earn for the rest of your life (or decreasing earnings for the rest of the life cycle of mine in Sirius case), it doesn't mean he did a great job.
He just saved you from amputation but at a huge expense and affecting the rest of your life.

Yup, definitely let's hope ST2 in an easier task. Can't wait when we are finally over the funding issue and can fully focus on what's really important: the mine itself.

I am fully aware it was necessary and the only available solution when agreed. I appreciate it allowed certain steps to be completed but in the same time and judging the deal on its own I can't honestly say its good for the Sirius long term. It was necessary evil but one thing is to recognize it was necessary and another is to praise it to the skies.
I think it's fair to say that the negotiated terms were generally bad offering excessive long term returns to Gina judging from the Company / Stakeholders perspective but in the same time without it we wouldn't even take off.

I know but it could have been structured differently. Not for the "next 100 years" and not on "gross revenue".
Long term infinite rip-off in my opinion but I understand your view can be different.

Well, I got carried away a bit. Happens.

In terms of the deal itself, I expressed my opinion clearly. Only because it was the only deal on the table at the time, it doesn't make it good.

I'll let everybody to have their own opinion, it's done anyway.
