I'm not. In fact I really like the current 22p I don't even mind a little delay and further drop - the longer it last the better:). Let's not forget that the ST2 announcement will likely to be a VERY LAST TIME when we see SP in those "20 something" regions and the next time we top up we'll probably be paying +30, +40 and beyond.....

To be honest, seeing the SP temporarily down I personally don't get nervous much, I perceive it as opportunity rather a reason to be worried about. For me it can be down for another year as long as the mine is getting built. And with or without a potential hiccups or extra equity it is getting built as we speak.The sale won't last forever so let's enjoy it while it lasts :)

Nothing with reply button but there is no need to name thread "re" and then renaming it to "re: re" etc

a) It doesn't help the reader to identify the topic
b) it's confusing especially when some of the members start a new "re" thread over the already existing "re".....

More REs, more mess.

Can you please stop responding to never ending "RE" and "RE: re:" threads and perhaps start creating a new clearly named threads every time you want to say something new?

It would really help to sort / navigate through all all the discussions on the board and improve the quality of reading. For anybody still struggling, definition of the paragraph below:

So are you saying that we might possibly end up de-listed carrying shares in the unquotated company if we don't decide to accept the potential T/O offer? Does it mean that we couldn't sell at the later stage? And what would that 'second issue' effectively mean for an average PIs and their holdings? Also why couldn't we keep them in an ISA?

I was going to ask, does anybody know what would be the outcome / consequences of the potential takeover (purely hypothetically) and its impact on the company, shares, shareholders and the current SP? How does the whole process work and what it involves? Are there different types of takeovers? What are the dangers / benefits?

I'm trying to improve my understanding of the process, any insightful answers /experiences would be more than welcome.

You are confusing terms: capital growth, return on investment and dividend percentage per share.

By saying "it's going to be closer to 50%" you are including a large portion of your capital growth into your dividend per share calculation. To put it simply your capital growth will have to be recognized as a profit in your future personal P&L at some point (either revalued or sold at a profit) and only then that investment will in turn generate e.g. a 5% dividend returning e.g. 50% on your initial investment.

I personally (despite being a long term investor) don't buy SXX shares "for dividends". The sole purpose of buying now at the riskier stage is CAPITAL GROWTH.

I can get 5% dividends anywhere anytime. The idea is to turn pennies into pounds and then use the capital gained to diversify and create more balanced portfolio.I think it's important distinction, I don't know why would anybody buy now solely "for dividends".

And by the way, how do you know for sure that the user "JimGlickenhaus" is the actual Jim Glickenhaus and not some imaginative 15 years old or some investment bank employee making statements like "I now own many 10's of millions of shares"on his behalf? Just saying....
