Terence et al, yet another God given 'Truss' moment courtesy of Reeves. LGEN dropped to c208p (briefly) during Truss. This (Tren) could be just the chance to move some money over to Income and bag over 9%. I have too much in Growth (at my age) so will be looking to supplement my income with some juicy dividends, tax free in my (& Mrs K's) ISA.

@SimPil, it must be hard for union members to see exactly what benefit they are getting from their subs. As soon as they heard about the rise in NI surely they themselves knew the writing was on the wall. Of course, this would have no impact on union bosses at the top like, for instance, Len McCluskey at Unite.

@Shorty, it's a very simple business decision by AH. It is just no longer viable to employ thousands of people in this country as opposed to SA or even Europe. NI is the final nail. Not only the savings in salary to move but AI will transform CC business s over the next few years. Once this is completed CC will stop being an anchor to profitability. IMV.

Tren, i know you have mentioned previously an interest in LGEN; possibly for the excellant long term dividend. They are the backbone of my Income p/f. (with Aviva & Rio). Bond market issues are affecting the SP and would suggest if it drops to circ220p it would be a good entry point. I intend using a substantial amount of my £20k ISA allowance on further purchases at this level.

I sold off my 235p buy here the other day at 248.30p on the spike up to lock in a few hundred quid. Some of that may go to LGEN also.

Recent buys in Googl, Qcom & Nio all doing ok aided by the stronger dollar.

Because Dalt there would be just a sea of hardly anythying but green boxes. I prefer to just stay away. The idea of a place to come to share knowledge isn't working for me. It's become a race to the bottom in terms of quality. Juvenile clap trap that adults should be ashamed to join into. So, i'll just keep my research & comments to myself. ADVFN got like it, so i came here. But LSE is infested now.

@SimPil, i want to reply to your post to say thankyou. This board has become a sea of total absurdity recently, but your comments are always worth reading; do continue. I don't visit & contribute very much now, just calling in to flick through comments, usually Friday's. Thanks, from those here who are genuine Capita investors and who see this message board as a place to share their knowledge and maybe gain some . It's the people who come here the first time to see what's being said about Capita i feel really sorry for. .. ... . ..

@Tren, have recently been buying US stocks; Qcom, Googl & Nio. All in ok profit now. Nio being the star baker at 33.7% up. Very sadly i only bought with an eggcup instead of a bucket! Will look at OCDO, thanks

Here's an article from Business Insider on AI for those on here who believe we are in a dot com type bubble. Personally, i do not agree and see AI being the gamechanger technology that the world wide web was in the 1990's. Have a read. Please comment. At least it will stop this immature conversation between a green box and people who ought to know better.....
