This is the copy of the article which conor Coyle wrote and was published in The Irish News. This is the exact same copy verified by Conor when i emailed him earlier. All i want is verified news, good, bad or plain ugly. If he tells me it's his work, then that's good by me...

Ffs Sim, i just posted an article that i'd seen for others to read; not for good, nor for bad. Then i corroborated the article by contacting the auttor.

Nobody, without exception, is more possitive on the future of Capita than me.

But it doesn't help a less informed person like myself when the article says.....

The letter goes on to say that the breach “was a result of actions of a Capita employee who was updating hardware on behalf of the Department of Health and did not follow correct procedure”.

@evik, agree, all my US stocks doing very well; Googl, Coin, Meta, Nio & Qcom. Googl at all time high. Far exceeding my UK investments in performance. Good FX rate to buy also. Apart from the odd buy/sell here, nothing to show in 5 years now for me.

I sold out my 235's here and had a further 'nibble' at NIO @ $5.81. FX can't stay at $1.35 forever. So, hopefully a rise in the SP over the next few months plus a stronger Dollar....

Agree Tren. My usual EPC guy, who has been doing Energy Performance Certificates day in day out since they came in, is spitting feathers. It would cost roughly £9,000 to achieve a Band C in the average mid terraced Victorian cottage; insulate all the walls, concrete floors & lofts. So, you have a row of 25 terraced houses in a given street. The landlord has to achieve this Band C or face being fined. Whereas the home owner can sit by their coal fire with single glazing and zero insulation happily in a Band F. Makes no sence! Result is Local Councils being innundated with people being evicted. These are facts. This is happening right now in my small town. Crazy that decent people are facing losing their home, not because the landlord WANTS to sell, but because the Labour government is about to make buy-to-let impossible.

But then, think about this. A lot of those landlords who sell will be making quite sizable CGT contributions to HMRC......tax & spend right there looking at you!

@Terry, in my small North Yorkshire town of c9,000 we have traditionally had lots of terraced cottages serving the local rental market. But now, due entirely to upcoming new regulations (Rayner?), we have literally dozens of those tenants being evicted as landlords exit the market. Really nice people a lot of them who just want to go to work and pay their rent. They turn to the Council. Their advice is always to wait to be taken to court, then come back once homeless. Then they are offered cheap accomodation, usually b&b over on the coast. All this, because of the Rent Reform Bill coming soon. Facts.

Tren will have some knowledge on this as we are in the same business.....
