Interesting to note how the share price has absorbed the news of the ICO fine, announced on 15th October. Then, the share price stood at 323p. Nearly all the national newspapers ran the story, which sank the SP to a low 2 day's later of 295p. Nice to see that since then we have shrugged that news off and the SP rallied to a high of 336p. So here we are, just over a week after the announcement, and we stand at 6p a share more than before, at 329p.

I think that's a pretty good performance considering......IMHO may see it differently of course

For me, it's proof yet again that the money i have invested in Capita is well placed. The future is bright under this guy. Imagine, JL doing an interview like this? Would never happen.....Que the sceptics

Another thing that really does leave 'ol Kipper here perplexed. It's the actual motivation of these scaremongerers (SM's). Nowadays we have the internet, with many places to do all the research you could ever need. No popping down the local library to look at Exell(?) cards on the companies you were interested in. Or sending off to the registrar for company accounts to come in the post. Yet, do these SM's really think they can influence people's investment decisions? Or have some crazy idea their comments can affect the share price? It doesn't take the 'brain of Britain' to predict that the share price might retrace somewhat after a rise of 34% over 2 weeks. What interest is it anyway? Many many people here seem to be long suffering long term holders. Been through the JL years and see a tremendous future with AH & his team.

If some folks here are worried by the fearmongering put about by certain individuals regarding short positions, please have a look at this link on 100 Most Shorted London Stocks.....the short position in Capita is totally irrelevant. The business performance going forward is......all IMV

As an example of how short positions matter not please note that Legal & General (LGEN) have short positions totaling 1.1% but as high as 2.6% in September. Yet the share price is riding high at 242p today. Funds that short play 'games', moving from position to position, in the hope of making a few quid and giving certain Pilgrims on message boards something to type. IMV a fund shorting Capita so close to possible free cash flow may well get crushed in a squeeze!

@DARK, it doesn't matter about these miniscule short positions. Irrelevant. The obvious disconnect, that has been transparent to a few of us LTH on here for some time, between the company performance and the share price, is soon to be rectified. Stupid people will write trash on here opposing that. Their loss, keep the faith fellow 'investors'.....

Just to be ultraclear on this. Short positions are only reported over 0.5%. Therefore there could be any number of Funds holding short positions below that. Always has been the case. Means very little to me. Capita is obviously turning around and the share price will soon reflect that.

@Sim, how about recommending to LSE that people who disrupt the flow of boards with often vile and malicilous content get a one week ban from posting on that particular board........would that work?

@A, i don't mind negative content as it gives some degree of balance. Indeed, i have often posted links to articles that may show Capita in not the best light. It's not that someone has an opposite opinion to me as a LTH, it's just the total lack quality in the input. I don't like green boxing people, but there sometimes is no better option. Only on the CPI board do i have people on filter, no other boards.

Am not sure actually if the people who engage are not just as culpable. Why encourage? Why converse with a fool?

Hear Hear Trenners. Couldn't have written it better. Until LSE get a handle on this ability to register several accounts nothing will change. Or they start charging £30 a month for membership (can't see either) I wonder if some of those who post such childish, and often insulting comments, are actually reasonable people in the real world. But can say anything online without fear of retribution.....LSE Police? Are there any?

Same here Rogue, board not worth visiting at the moment. Shame really. Ruined by 3 or 4 people. Who may even have multiple accounts & like to 'talk to themselves'. Would suggest they contact their GP's as the lithium just isn't working anymore, and they may want to look at upping that a little.....
