I use the term Greed not solely direct at you but more as something that all of us as investors have fallen to in the past.

I can still see mine every time I log on my shares account and those dormant Evraz shares are staring at me.

It doesn’t matter how long anyone holds a share it’s what the end number you want is.

Everyone is an expert when it is not their money. I was thinking about the member who posted the other day. Was a long term holder and said that for him and his wife £7 was going to allow him a retirement that they could both of only dreamed of.

I hope that as his goal had been reached he cashed in and didn’t let Greed change his life plans.

It’s only worth holding if there becomes a bidding war which doesn’t seem the case. Also states any dividends paid up until then could see offer reduced inline with payout.

Take the win and invest it elsewhere.

Comparing 2 different business models both are successful businesses that are at the top end of their sector.

Both are extremely well run businesses and definitely worth considering for a 2025 investment.

Everyone looks at Nike as the key Brand to hold but that is changing. No surprise that Nike itself has lost 28% market value this year. Didn’t help with their ridiculous business decision to cut off all the small and mid level retailers and concentrate on selling online at greater volumes themselves.

It left the door open for the likes of On Running and Under Armour to pick up market share. Nike will continue to be No1 battling with adidas but how long will that last for. Can’t be reliant on just the Air Jordan range.

JD has realised this and started to adapt the brand catalogue accordingly.

At these prices definitely worth a punt.

With the NAV being declared at close play 30th Sept at (surprisingly) 273.29 should give us a yearly dividend of 10.93p .

The Nav last year was 276.05. The push of the last week came at the perfect time.

I am currently sat on a yield of 5.67 which makes it an even more of a hold. Even at current price of 2.38 there is still a decent 4.58 yield.

Long way to go. But for long term holders the future looks a lot brighter.

So if it does turn out to be the end of the year that means clueless is holding out for 6% gain over the next 6 months.

In turn if it takes 6 months then you’re looking at 12% p.a.

Not too bad but since the announcement on 30th April you could have made that 6% difference alone on Charles selections Lloyds (7%) and RR (12%).

You missed the window to sell when it was at £6 already down 4% from that point.

Easily done though when you keep believing everything Charles says as being fact.

Doyezee the board have been very clever over the past 18 months in controlling who had the casting votes in DT.

All those share buy backs loading up Directors and Employee scheme. Then a token gesture of Share Buy back scheme with the intention to write those shares off.

All that did was reduced the free float and make the views of the PI worthless.

Still think it’s a great business but started to show 12 months ago that its full intention was to line the Directors pockets.

Unfortunately too many couldn’t see past the ramblings of the clueless Charles.

As Sheltie said it was always going to be. Anyone with an ounce of intelligence would have noticed at the last AGM there wasn’t enough free float for the no votes to have won.

Should have done you homework before making fools of yourself following the 🤡 every word.
