Good day today all around but especially for Darktrace. Would like it to hit that Peel Hunt valuation 4.73 before March and steadily move on from there.

ijgs it is a fast way to loose a serious amount of money. I imagine we have all done it, I admit I have. We have seen an article or broker report got excited and piled a load of money in. Then a week later can not understand why this sure fire winner we have just invested in has turned into an absolute dog.
It is a good lesson to learn which unfortunately some people never will. Just because some broker says that this share will be £10 does not mean they are wrong we can all make predictions one day they may be correct. This may well be a £10 share just as when they said in 2000 that Cisco would be the first Trillon $ company.

The problem with Motley Fool can be seen on this board. When one so called "analyst" writes a bad report they are shot down for having absolutely no idea. Then when another writes a glowing report they have their finger on the pulse and know the "facts".
You can not choose which article or broker report you prefer just to fit your own agenda. Motley Fool are all about subscriptions and I find it best take everything they say the positive and negative and ignore the lot.

Exactly ijgs they were never expected to make a profit. Hence why I said and hope if they breakeven this year that is a great result.
Berenberg were valuing this business at just under £7bn (£6,992,117,050) based on expected growth. This is a business that last year (2021 accounts) turned over 281m. Do not get me wrong I really like the growth of DT
2018 - 79.42M
2019 - 137.02M
2020 - 199.08M
2021 - 281.34M

But is it really a £7bn company £10 a share.

It is only fair that everyone is allowed their view and also only fair that others should disagree. Though when the same posts are constantly being made to ramp this stock you have to ask yourself a question what is their agenda. Berenberg miraculously released their broker report 1 week after PH had downgraded. This is the Berenberg that who are a paid broker of DT. This was and will not be for IMO 3 years a £10 stock.
Do not forget for 3 months all we have heard is that Mike Lynch is dragging this stock down. Again as was said by many on here ML is not affecting this stock more like 3 years of losses and a trade update showing a an increase in growth based on exchange rate gains. Not from actual business growth.
The next report is vital a break even would be an excellent start.

The reason people may ask why so many filtered Charles is the following "He is probably paid by a hedgefund to spread negative news so his clients can buy your shares at the bottom".
It really is like being in a school play ground. Name calling because you do not like the other persons opinion.
Why would anyone think a hedgefund would waste all of its time posting on this board which has around 80 posts a day. 79 by 1 poster.

Must be the same Green boxes am I seeing Sheltie. I have nothing against Charles seems a very likeable person but he refused to listen. It was the same rehashed posts daily.

Agree Sanchez a lot of negative news at the moment and the US stocks with their high P/E will start to pay the price. I am hopeful that DT are well placed to step in when others start to fail.

I agree Sheltie slow and steady wins the race.

Agree in part. 39% of DT revenue is within US & Canada but you seriously cannot think that DT price drop is linked to Trillion dollar companies.
It is well positioned in an Inflation economy because it offers a service. The correction in US is down to ridiculous high valuations which DT does not have.

Nice comparison to a £143b company.

I would not call that ramper or bullish. Would use the first part Bull though.

Now that would be a great result. Even a cybersecurity ETF would be nice.

AB shares will be getting diluted and no doubt KKR are the ones buying.
Unfortunately KKR aren’t a new investor so as great as it looks I would have preferred Funds and Trusts picking this stock up.
Do not forget KKR already sold and were part of the 23m shares sold at £6.20 in August.
Not really as exciting as Charles is making it.

Crawshaw it’s was truly abysmal 3 months back. Felt so sorry for those that got dragged in by the junk they posted.
If you ever get the time look for the posts around that time. Any negative article posted by anyone on here. They got absolutely slaughtered.
Seems they are back though albeit with their reputation in tatters.

It is a discussion board Kitty. You could be right though he may be an ex employee and you maybe the one that got his job. You must have something to do with them constantly ramping £10 valuations and FTSE 100.

Great posts and agree with you both. The price valuations that the Brokers have been throwing in are ridiculous. I don’t mind Charles quite like the bloke. But his constant ramping of ridiculous valuations from paid DT Brokers distorts this board.
IMO and have always said. Like the business got huge potential and I would be happy if it finished 2022 with some solid financials and a share price of £5.50
