Will...don't blame you for not selling. I wouldn't at this price even though I bought a significant chunk at a much, much lower price sometime ago. This will rise and you will get your 10% but alas not today. Good KL4 results and a schedule for more drilling, planning permissions etc will help it above 2p. IOW for me will be a cruncher if successful. Too near Wytch farming to be imo.

Will.....lots of small sells making up the 42m. Can't see any 10-15m sells. Solo et al do not sell in small chunks as far as I am aware. Could be large sell in the background being sorted but buys v sells do not justify the drop. It will come back up but good buy in price for a while.

Unless there is a major sale being orchestrated in the background the share is oversold and unjustified imo. I can understand the news being priced in and as such not having much effect but a 5-7% drop is not warrented. Buying opportunity offered here so I expect it to start to rise back to 1-2% either way.

Sells are too small for Solo et Al. Most likely small time day traders who move on news good or bad. Buy on rumour sell on news brigade!!

And can't wait until tomorrow. This is long term investment with two commercial layers producing good quality oil and now KL4 on test. With horizontal drilling it should double or treble flow rates. UKOG also say their intention is to drill 4 production wells and 2 pressure wells so possibly 4x the eventual production at EWT.

bedex...it's exactly how I feel about it plus the implications for my children! Politicians who have had their fill and enjoyed the benefits of The EU making decisions which may have grave implications for my children's future as they start their careers and workng lives in an uncertain world.

99% of such negotiations end up with a compromise in my experience. Not sure it will get through parliament. So the uk is in for a rough ride for at least two or three years if not more. It could end up with Scotland becoming independent. It shouldn't impact on FRR being an American company operating in Georgia a developing country in adeveloping area. I worry for any UK company importing from or selling in Europe though. The uncertainty is worrying to say the least.

Possibly a silly question but do they continue to produce oil from the Portland whilst testing k3&4 or has the Portland been closed down until testing is complete. Just wondering if the tankers leaving are full of K3&4 oil or a combination of Portland and k3&4 oil.

Phil.. several months before 'revealing their hand' would be contrary to what Zaza said about news being sooner rather than later.

Scandik.. SS has already declared the Portland commercial and we know KL3 & 4 flow even better and should be the icing on the cake or perhaps the Portland is the icing on the cake. We should achieve better than the 1688 bopd produced on the first test given the increase in Portland production. BB should have flowed the same but we know there were technical problems with the drilling and they intend to revisit. My understanding is that they intend to run 4 production wells at HH after EWT so potentially 1688 X 4 a day. I say potentially. We can only hope!!

Am I correct in saying UKOG only has 32.43% of the HH licences but 49.9% of HHDL? I am trying to run some calculations for HH but I am unsure which figure to use to calculate production income to UKOG. I thought UKOG held a greater % but not according to their website! I thought HHDL was specifically for the HH site and thus UKOG gain 49.9% of profit eventually. Do the HH licences include other sites?

Has SS ever stated what he believes the operating cost would be per barrel to extract the oil?

I have over 3m AEX and 1/2m Solo but have not looked in for a long time. Is there any reason for this rise today? Presumably the 25 year licence is a possibility but anything else imminent? Thanks if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Baz.... Have you seen any tankers leaving Brockham? SS will tell us when he has finished testing what clearly is a well which is flowing.

Jersey...do not understand your logic??? The concept SS is trying to prove is the existence or otherwise of one large oilfield under the Weald. The greater the acreage you hold then technically the more wells you can drill thus greater production you can gain. UKOG hold the greater acreage thus are in the best position to produce more. The point is they will all be pulling off the same oil deposit if SS is right about the extent of the oilfield. 10 or 120 wells producing 1000 bpd is greater that 1 well producing 1000 bpd. Angus has 1 well though could drill more on the single site. UKOG hope to have multiple sites with possibly octopus drilling on each site. If all goes to plan and if....and it's a big if SS is correct.
