Bedex....I totally agree with your comments. I would add that Parliament irrespective of party looks an absolute shambles to the outsider. Far too many public school/ Oxbridge career politicians. Parliament looks at times to a playground gathering...all shouting and noise. I feel embarrassed explaining to my EU friends!

A finance company would not be jointly signing a term sheet for $60m prior to due diligence without the backing of a major who may have already carried out due diligence to their satisfaction. In fact in the timing of the disclosure of the NDA the major whoever it is will have carried out DD by now. A term sheet sets out the terms and conditions and once signed by both parties may be legally binding. It is a significant amount of money and especially for an AIM company. Aim companies are usually in the 1-10 m range in terms of borrowing finance. The assets must be indeed be significant to be used as security against such a large loan. I really do think Zaza may have pulled off an outstanding arrangement both financially and operationally from the companies strategic perspective.

The NDA will not have been breached as it will not exclude private discussions and due diligence by the lending company to secure finance and I believe this is the amount FRR will need to meet their obligations to a JV deal with the major to develop block 12. There will be an expectation that FRR is debt free or has the finance secured to be debt free from the initial borrowings. This could of course come from the Hope Court case which may be settled out of court to the sum of that owed which if successful removes the need to utilise the $20m. The NY company offering the finance is likely imo to be associated with the major or BH. Imo this is an excellent move by FRR which will excellerate the development of Block 12. Equally the major may be interested in developing the gas supporting FRR to develop the oil. Either way it looks very promising. I look forward to seeing the outcome of the Hope debarcle. 2019 should be an interesting year as I think we are in a much better position that any year before. I hope Zaza can disclose the major before Xmas or at least in early January. That would be a great start to the NY.

I agree Joebop that it's a punt but one based on significant information so a calculated punt. The minerals are either there or they are not and we know they are. All we are waiting on is in what quantity they are there and what cost to get them out. All the signs are positive so far so the odds reduce. This might be a 12-24 month investment for a decent return.

Rich...like you I am a LTH with a sizable holding and want to hear news however why should SS be constantly feeding information to shareholders. Most shareholders are simply here to make a profit and move on once they have hit their target figure. They see UKOG as a potential money tree. They are not interested in SS trying to prove a concept and build a profitable business over the next 2-5 years and SS knows that. I feel more reasured by what he is trying to prove and build than whether he gives a s..t about us. News will come when he's ready to give it but tankers coming and going is very reassuring. We already know the Portland is commercial and given the numbers of tankers leaving I a believe K3&4 will be. Watch the crowd take their Christmas money if he declares the K 4&5 commercial!!

Why would a RIO Director or 'boss' as you call him be in the audiance at the AGM? Surely he could have asked to see the cores not photos of them in Australia. I'm sure he would also have access to the site should he ask. Could it be he was there to ensure no privileged information was given out. Could the assay results be known or at least hand monitor results known and RIO have expressed interested at this stage but yet to put their cards on the table in a formal manner.

GH will present core photos at the AGM which clearly show the mineralisation. I cannot believe he will face an AGM with very little to offer. Significant mineralisation is simple to understand and is very positive. Tactically it is better to be able to add 'flesh to the bone' at a presentation than just talk about what is already known.

LB28....my point exactly. When people are worried the MM's can have a field day. They are not pointless RNS's...the purpose was to have something to talk about at the AGM. The assay data is key and this takes time at the lab. Significant mineralisation seen is a positive which should be followed by good assay results though not necessarily as good as HAD001 and 5 which were exceptional and made mining headlines. Very rare that this happens.

They will drop this to scoop up stops and frighten weak holders who are unsure of what the RNS says then bring it up to sell at a huge profit to those wanting to get in or the II's who have probably placed their orders yesterday.

RTC....this has been thrown out for today's meeting. The assay results give the important data. He does say significant mineralisation seen in all drills which gives a strong indication of what we hope is there.

Would have spoken to GGP or at least someone close to the company before deciding to invest again. Interesting that they buy just before this RNS comes out. Are they taking a punt? I doubt it.
