If it's one big oil lake distance is irrelevant. It's the same oil just a different well point. After that it's down to acerage and how many drill sites you have. UKOG have the bigger acerage. Hopefully both companies will be pumping oil though I suspect within a year UKOG will be pumping more.

One thing I have learnt over the years of trading and investing is that patience is a key virtue. Portland is already commercial and K3 and K4 on initial tests flowed at what would be considered commercial rates. Tankers are coming and going full of sweet crude. All will be announced in due course and hopefully before xmas for those who want the xmas money. It just doesn't happen overnight!!

Honador.... fair comment and as I said in a previous post it would result in dilution...ridiculous dilution and probably consolidation which in my experience is not good news. Lets hope the oil resource which both companies I believe are drawing from is as big as SS and DL think. I have my fingers crossed for all who invest in UKOG.

Eyes... I don't think for one minute he wants to share it with Angus but Angus are probably pulling from the same oil resource given that they are only 5 miles apart and with horizontal drilling even nearer. If I was SS I would want the Brockham site and the production licence that goes with it. Whether that's feasible I do not know. Perhaps Angus will do what Solo did and sell but take the revenue in shares and thus a much bigger asset given the acreage UKOG have. Solo needed the money for their Tanzania drills but I'm not sure that Angus need the money as I am not invested in them so have no knowledge of their commitments to other projects. What I do know is the Brockham site is tiny and the last time I looked wasn't being geared up for greater development unlike HH.

Jersey..... that's what SS and DL believe to be the case stretching right across the Weald to the IOW. There's every possibility that its true but its working out where the margins are and where the sweet spots 'Deepest' are. I think HH may be a sweet spot and yes Brockham is only a few miles away. Possibly BB was a margin drill. It would make sense for UKOG and Angus to join up in my mind but that would be a complex arrangement I guess. Do Angus buy a percentage of UKOG or do UKOG buy out Angus and where does the money come from if they do without further dilution and then consolidation.

I think option 1. Horse hill being commercial is only the start of proving the concept of one big oil lake. I think that UKOG will have a ' long fuse' which after 2 or 3 more drills in different areas will finally result in a major rerate. It's likely to take 24-36 months given planning issues for each drill. I do believe the concept of the one big oil lake has merit given the extent of the Kimmeridge layers and what we know from Balcombe and Wytch Farm, Palmers wood etc. A medium to long term investment in my opinion.

Toastie.....why bother buying back into GKp when you can recoup your loss elsewhere?

Weren't some of the service teams/companies paid in shares a few years ago as we could not afford to pay cash. If so it may be that the major is insisting on these shares being monitised or the invoices paid. It would be more profitable to sell the shares than have the shares cancelled and the invoices paid.

I guess 5,10,15% is better than you can get in the bank but with some (only a few) shares such as FRR the potential with the next news up to Xmas is massive, possibly life changing for those with many millions at below 0.2. Possibly I have got too attached to this share and the story so far. However, I am here for the long term or at least 10p which I believe it has the potential to reach if all is to be believed and will be a life changing amount for me and my family.!!

I do not understand the level of selling going on given the news that is imminent. 5-10% on some of the trades must be peanuts and the risk of being out when the big news drops is massive especially if it drops at 7.00am and the price set by the MM's is 30-50% higher.... that's if you can get in!!

I think whoever takes the lead on this o&g development they will need Zaza. His connections with the Georgian government and with GOGC are central to the negotiations not to mention his knowledge of exploration in this region. He is also a good front man for the development and works out of Houston home to BH and ExxonMobil who I believe and very much hope are the 2nd major. Applegate....yes you are probably right. I am fortunate to have bought in with many millions at almost the lowest point and could walk away with a very healthy profit at .53 but I would like this investment to be life-changing and I think it has the potential to be so. The traders see it as just another opportunity I guess and move their profits to the next opportunity. I find FRR's story/development and potential fascinating so will stay the course hopefully to 10p which will be life-changing for my family.

Canny....for what it's worth I think the mystery company is calling the shots and have brought BH in to carry out the drilling services, pipeline connections etc. FRR are too small but will have a say. FRR will want £400m back to start with which is 2.5p minimum a share plus an ongoing share in the profits. I would expect 5p within 12-18 months and after that a rise in share price relative to the bpd and potential profitability. FRR deserves a good return on their investment and exploration work.......20 years I believe!!! I hope then they become an exploration arm and move onto Mo!dova whist watching their shareprice rise!!

How people are making money trading this. It been stuck on 53/54 for ages. With trading fees traders must be making a couple of quid a trade if that. They risk being out and a RNS Monday which could mean it costs a lot more to get in. Each to their own I guess!

I always thought that it was 30% rise without reason that triggered the " no reason"' RNS. Having said that there is every reason at the moment for a substantial rise.
