MM's doing an excellent job of walking this up on a tight spread. This could really take off at any time leaving many sellers paying far more to get back in...too risky to trade now imo.

TomE...that price was inflated and based on a possible buyout by Newmont who had a NDA with GGP to carry out DD. GGP are not a production company they are an exploration company and their value is based on what they find and what a major will pay for it. Last time their find was OK but not highly significant hence Newmont walking. This time the first drill data is very significant and should result in the interest of a major if the next two drills show similar mineralisation. Some investors are understandably cautious at the moment but a good second drill or a NDA agreement with RIO or another major will send this up past 3p and beyond.

What we want is two majors fighting over GGP.....a hostile takeover/buyout and we should see a good return on our investment.

Surely you jest Aubree!! Small companies are high risk even in talks with majors. High risk=high reward and of course visa versa. Take into account the assets and one NDA and it's worth the risk in my opinion. Could be very high reward for some on this board..in fact life changing.

Nice for the MM's. They were buying at 1.58/9 and now selling at 1.68/70. They will be looking for more share soon don't set your stop losses too low!!!....or not at all.

As expected edging upwards and spread closed again. This could now move slowly upwards as investors happy to pay full ask and over. This is still a good price given that we were at 1.80 a day or two ago.

No...there's no need to be. Nothing has changed. The drop is normal when waiting for news. Happens with almost every share. Some PI's get edgy and top slice or sell part of their holding. One major on board, one looking at data and confirmed significant assets in a west friendly country that needs energy. May take longer than we think to carry out due diligence and clear decks for JV or buy in.

There must be an order in the background. They are happy to take them off you and have closed the spread. Ask will move up soon. I can well imagine we will start to see some 1 &2 m buys coming in as soon as they have enough.

Dealer55....that's my take on it. MM's will agree a price, negotiated trade, with brokers and then have to find the shares to fill the orders. Hence my comment about the 2m buys being out of sequence. They took time to fill. MM's dropped the price to trigger stops and weak pi's. Back up tomorrow or Friday. Wouldn't be surprised to see it drop again tomorrow after a rise to fill more large orders. PI's slowly got rid of to help the II's buys.

Investor 1111....I'm 60%+ up without rinse and repeat. This was a trading share for me but the drill data and proximity of the licence to RIO's land has made me think again and as such it's now in my medium term investment pot 6-18 months. If the next set of drill data comes in similar to the first then bingo. If not I am sure I will be well in profit even after a drop. I cannot forsee the next data being significantly different but that's a risk I and others will take.

No need to take it down to 1p. Plenty of buyers jumping in much higher keeping the price within a10% range of previous day's close. Nothing ever goes up in a straight line! First drill too good to justify a major move downwards. If it did I'd just buy a lot more as would many.

In the last 1/2 hour were out of sequence i.e. time of trade. It seems to me that the MM's were having to take the price down to trigger stops or scare weak investors in order to be able to supply that number of shares. -8% imo doesn't reflect the real situation and I would expect this to go up tomorrow.

Free carry to drill one of the largest oil/gas fields onshore in Eastern Africa. What's a few months in the scale of things? Everything moves slowly in Africa. This is not surprising really. Jay does not have the whip hand anymore, the Subs do. They will dictate but also have greater clout in Tanzania.

BHP took share in SOLG on the basis of their reports and according to their latest report have them earmarked for potential acquisition. Will RIO do the same with GGP if further results are as good. RIO are keeping quiet about their find north of ours....I wonder if they will take a good look at GGP's. I would love to see their data compared to our first drill data.

Just starting to look at GGP drill result v SolG results and clearly SolG have the greater mineralisation and volume though they have more drill results to quote from. However GGP did say mineralisation went further than their drill length and if subsequent drills are equally as successful in terms of mineralisation then this licence becomes very interesting in comparison to SolG. Would the cost of mining in Ecuador be greater than in Australia however and are permissions easy in Australia and are transportation links easier? All questions that would affect the value of the mine.

Have Frontera brought this case to court. Not quite sure what it means by 'conduct discovery from Hope' et Al? Sounds like Hope as brought it to court which was not my understanding of the situation. Any legal people on the board that could clarify the situation.

These grades are staggering when compared to other successful mines.

..... quite a claim by GH! No doubt RIO will have a look. Let's hope the next results are as good.
