Agree someone's buying in the background and I suspect order not filled yet. As expected the share is now rising but expect another shake if people are not selling in the quantity they need.

I don't think the MM'S have many shares available to them. I cannot see the justification for the drop around 10.00 am given the buying before hand. IMO it was a treeshake to gain quickshare so given more buying I am not surprised it's gone to NTs.

Totally disagree...not coming to end of life but just starting. UKOG cannot dictate all terms..planning permissions take ages in this country and lack of major finance limits no of drill sites they can work on. This is a slow burn company but with good long term potential.. 4 years..more like 10 years for real returns. I see UKOG as a major onshore player in years to come having bought up or bought into most of the Weald companies as well as their own operations. IOW is a potential game changer with pipeline to Hamble just a short distance. As they prove up the concept and develop the wells then a buyout is a distinct possibility but not for a good few years yet IMO.

I don't think this was a Beetham quote. Someone pointed out the profit Beetham would make with 250m shares purchased at below 2p if it got to 10p. Pretty obvious really. Given what we know I wouldn't be surprised if this share is above 10p by the end of the year. I'll be very surprised if a major is not involved within the year especially if deeper drills find the deposits continue down.

Mike 31....and who's going to invest in that company knowing what has happened here. I agree with OnedayR that the worst could happen and we lose all our investment but Zaza did not come across as a person who would let that happen. He is also heavily invested in this remember.

At this point in time it would be in no one's interest to discuss and or divulge the details of an OCC settlement which must be in the pipeline if common sense prevails. We can but trust Zaza and his lawyers on this. It wouldn't surprise me if this takes a further 6 -9 months to sort out and return to a listed company on AIM. Meanwhile oil is being produced and I assume wells being drilled.

Querty...we've gain controlling interest, bigger slice of the profits and retained the money necessary to drill the next few wells at HH and drill IOW which is a much better plan than using money for drilling to buy controlling interest. From a business point of view it is a win win situation, an excellent strategy. Only short termers and traders lose out. In 12 months time the £2m sale of shares and dilution will seem insignificant.

Yes agree big gamble. I'm not moving from here but noticed the buying on Angs 6-1 and the rise from opening price. Also the selling here which I think will move to buying later this am. I also want Angs to do well although I'm not invested there. I want to see proved the Weald oil lake not simply puddles of oil here and there. For the record I'm a lth here and will be way past IOW and beyond.

I got the impression from the DL tweet that DOR wasn't selling any-time soon as he felt UKOG is well undervalued for the assets it has. Not sure it was DOR selling as price was based on closing price on Friday. I know they can forward sell but they wouldn't know what the price was they were buying at in order to sell at a profit.

I find it interesting that Broadford Bridge is listed in their assets as 'BB-1 & 1z oil discovery, planning application approved' . I know there were drilling problems there but I wonder if oil has been discovered, well plugged on the basis it will be expected to flow when redrilled as a production or an EWT. Is anyone well versed on the situation at BB? Also am I correct in saying the IOW is already a discovery (in the past) and just needs re-drilling as a EWT and then production well, following planning permissions.

Gkb47.. I'm sure they'll take the additional 4% in due course but the intention I am sure was to get over the 50% threshold and not have to dip into their cash reserves whilst also keeping the dilution to the minimum. A great purchase in my opinion for lths.

We are covered cashwise for the drilling programme not for acquisitions. Excellent acquisition and now own over 50%. Much better if any majors or mediums take an interest to buy 50%+ than a small slice.

We are now the majority owner...small dilution yes but greater profit. We will at some point consolidate anyway. I would rather have a bigger slice of the cake at this point in time given the potential profitability of the company.

Mapp... you haven't lost it yet. These things happen between companies especially oil, gas and minerals where loans are being dished out and assets have real potential.. It can be 'dog eat dog' agreed but I suspect there's much more to this situation than we know or can even guess about. Zaza's not going to let his investment, £400m so far invested by the company and 20 years work go down the drain IMO.
