I take heart from the fact no share certificates have been issued indicating to me that the intention is to relist after this mess is sorted...assuming it is sorted to shareholders benefit.

Paddy..is the tenement they have applied for directly adjacent to Hav or further south. Just wondering if they drill to the south and they do not find the outer limit whether they could continue into the new tenement if GGP are awarded the block.

Thanks Paddy. If they start drilling outside the lines we know we are onto something potentially quite outstanding. As it is things are looking very positive for a large asset find. As I understand it they have three years drilling to prove up the find spending x million each year to buy in up to 70%. If they decide they know enough to give the project a green light do they still own the 70% or will it be whatever the % they have bought into at the point of decision. Not sure how this might work.

I know you can't trust the sells or buys data here but it intrigues me that for days the volume sold has been greater than volume bought according to LSE data yet there has been a steady increase in the share price. Regarding drilling are they still in or outside the areas NM bought into?

Chippy..that's a very interesting point. Presumably they would have to pay more to include the rest of the blocks if they show similar gold and copper amounts. Not sure how that would work.

Many of the Board of Directors with 20+ years experience were middle executives in the major companies so have old contacts etc. GGP is a minnow albeit exploring adjacent to Telfer and making a great deal of noise about their drill results hence NM's interest. Primorious is only an investment company as I understand it so your possibly right although you don't buy 64m + shares without so.eone on the board with gold mining experience. I think Alistair Clayton is a field geologist by background with experience in gold exploration.

Most of the trades shown are small and probably small PT Investors. They would not be party to a RNS being logged. Only 18m traded so far as opposed to nearly 100m the other day. Rise is welcome though and hopefully by mid Jan we will see a 12 month high filled by 'brilliant' news from NC drilling.... fingers crossed!!!

I think we are seeing the much expected rerate taking place looking at the 1-2 month continued rise. The drop from when NM walked away from the deal has taken some time to turn round but the NC JV and drill results are starting to sink in. I think Primorious will have a good idea of the size of this asset as the Directors of both GGP & Prim and the NM Directors will all know each other and meet at various meetings and conferences.

Jersey totally agree. Risk is an interesting driver for great reward. All my research tells me the risk here is now much lower and the reward could be outstanding but there is still risk. Having said that that was my position before Newmont walked a year back although the risk was much higher at that point I am a serious risk taker and invested heavily in FRR after lots of research and listening to the Board at meetings etc. for instance...no more needs to be said.!! Open ended time frames do not guarantee reward although I agree with Buffett that patience is a good virtue when investing. Having said that my patience with some companies was not rewarded as they folded and for some the writing was not on the wall. I am fortunate having made a lot of money investing 10 years or more ago and decided to up the risk as a strategy in recent years. It can be an easy way to lose money!! With GGP if NC are successful with their drilling and decided to mine then it is a derisked investment. At the moment it is still a risk albeit one worth taking for the potential reward.

Typical....11.27am and all the selling starts. Traders must be making very small profits on a spread of 2.5%. Not worth the risk in my opinion for so little.

Pretty solid buying since 9.00am. Buys soon to pass early sell volume. I would like to have seen share options at 5p to give me real confidence in what the board thinks about the size of deposit and the NC joint venture.

70m traded so far..perhaps 100m by COP. Is this better or average. I don't have daily volume figures.

Could be a very large order as such not filled so MMs do not have to declare yet.

Rainbow...so what happens to ordinary shareholder investments if the company is still a going concern after arbitration or there is a settlement. Can they just walk away with our money or is the company likely to buy out our shares at whatever the valuation is in the form of a one off Divi. Can't see the latter if they cant pay Hope's £2m. What are the likely options following a settlement if the don't relist? I've no experience of this situation though presumably delisting a going concern has happened before.
