Mud slightly worrying if you turn out to be correct in that the 180 isn’t big enough to do the job at c-37 as it would just highlight (yet again) the lack of precise/correct decision making we’ve become all to familiar with !

Mud to be honest the 260 is for next year and not really significant in our short term horizon. We have about 200 days (unless AC get’s an extension from Socar) to get up to 465 bopd. It’s been rns’d that the 180 rig is going to work on c37 then z21 and z28 . We can’t afford to wait another month for it. It needs to arrive sharpish and get this damn oil out

if they do happen to be struggling to get the right partnership deal in place I think they will look for a takeover post approval at the best possible price, and walk away pleased with what they achieved

I’m really hoping that the 180 is on site next week so we can finally get on with meaningful drilling. Can’t help but worry that if it’s not there next week we may be waiting a good while longer for it

This share continues to defy all logic and explanation.. 3 months away from an almost guaranteed approval and we hit a year low!! So damn tedious, I just want to get approved and then get taken over sharpish

Agree with you that approval and a strong partner agreement will probably get us to circa 60p. As we’re 99% sure of approval (what could we possibly be rejected on?) and as we’re only 15 weeks max from fda decision you have to conclude (ridiculously) that a lot of approval is already built into share price, and strong partnership or out of the blue rest of world deal will be the bigger drivers. Personally I’m hoping for approval then buyout within a few months

Yep biggest factor to success between now and Xmas is the timing of 180 rig arriving to carry straight on from the 80 doing its job. No more wasted weeks/months with everyone sitting around dwiddling their thumbs please, just lots of people grafting day after day with the right kit to get some of the black stuff out the ground

Looks like the fun of the last couple of days may be over and we’ll start to be walked down again until substantive news arrives

They’ve never actually confirmed the completion of the tender process for the 180 ton rig. I really hope it’s sorted and this rig gets there in the next couple of weeks to drill and complete C37, if the 180 and 260 both don’t arrive until deep into Dec i will be very p****d off

You know what ajb I’m actually going to agree with you they should just finish a work over..but they’ve changed plans again and we’re just going to have to roll with it and see where it takes us

Thanks for reply ivy agree with a lot of what you say, I think for a small independent who have done exceptionally well to get to here the best thing we could do is look for a buyer once approved, I think all shareholders even institutional ones would be satisfied with a £1

Would be interested to know what you’re expecting/looking for here as an end result, would you be happy with circa a £1 for your shares or do you think realistically there’s way more to play for longer term (habp and cf indications etc) and are therefore prepared to wait it out for another couple of years? You’ve often said why would GL accept an offer of £200-300m when it costs way more to get a drug all the way to market, personally I think things have altered a fair bit in the ab market recently and I reckon GL would probably accept a £300m takeover offer now giving us around a £1 a share...I would definitely sign up for that !

Ajb I would say through this summer until the rigs show up they’ve downed tools and been operating with a skeleton staff, including delaying the start of the new op’s Director

Always the same we can’t hold a rise for a day, let alone a week or a month, don’t know why they even bother to let it go to 37p earlier

Yep ajb and there’s nothing any of us can do about it. So cross your fingers it all turns out well
