Well done Hydrogen and thanks, that must have taken you quite a while. Why can't MTR publish something like that regularly? Surely it would generate some interest, or at least give us something to talk about.

Jonfon, I started doing a list a while back but it was turning into a big job and I gave up and decided to wait for the next report from the company. However I think there may be a few investments missing from your list. Please don't take this as criticsm of your efforts (as I said I gave up!) but I think MTR also have holdings in the following:-
Artemis Resources
Predictive Discovery
Pan Global
Tanga
Marimaca
Catalyst Metals
Geopacific Resources
Canyon Resources
Aurelius Minerals
Arkle resources
I Metal Resources.

If there's 1 thing I'd like MTR to do, it is give us more frequent updates on the value of the holdings-say quarterly. Obviously that wouldn't be the same as the NAV but it would be a start!

Cashy, I've no idea what the timetable is, you'll have to ask someone who keeps up with what's going on better than I do. I've learnt to expect only the unexpected with MTR. My only expectation for the expected is that it will be late!

Cashy-is that a turn to reverse direction or to continue spinning on the 23p spot?

I'm inclined to agree re the reason for today's rise, Bazzaman, but in the long run I think the consolidation will turn out to be a good move.

In preparation for the ASX listing I thought I'd do a search in Hot Copper for MTR. In luck I thought, Hot Copper are on the ball and there are even a few posts in the discussion section. Then I noticed the share price. $3.95!!!! and market cap $1.2bn!! Can somebody tell me quickly how I transfer my shares to the ASX?? If only....

Potential is enormous but nobody, well, hardly anybody, buying into it.

Good morning all. Re transferring holdings to the ASX-why would you do that unless you were an Aussie resident? Won't the prices be pretty much the same, as with Thor? I must admit I don't understand why MTR are going for the dual listing, and I'm not expecting it to have any significant effect on the SP, but I have no experience of this situation at all. I've heard mention of Aussie investors being more likely to invest in us as a "mining" company but the share consolidation was supposed to attract more institutional investors and apart from Hydrogen's mate that doesn't seem to have worked. Is dual listing or even transferring solely to the ASX really going to achieve much.? I'm not holding my breath!

There seems to have been a fairly widespread pull back lately-some of MTR's holdings are down, and BRWM is down nearly 12% from its high earlier this month. Not sure why as copper is still doing well and forecast to do better.

Well, he got the wts of copper and gold right but I don't think much else We certainly haven't reached $1/shr yet have we?

Hi Zaphod. I did the first part of your calculation this morning, but it's a big leap from there to estimating a current value of the resource to a prospective buyer or to its impact on the SP/MCap. Why did you pick 3% to apply to the overall value of the resource? I've no idea whether that's reasonable or not but we have to start somewhere. Perhaps someone will come along with another figure and we'll eventually arrive at a figure we're reasonably happy with. I would expect some discussion tonight on Hot Copper, which might enlighten us further. At least it'll be better than all the futile rubbish we have to put up with on here from some contributors.

Pam up 34% last night. Not the best timing by MTR -PAM up around 60%+ since the Dec 2020 disposals, and missed out on most of last night's rise.

A better performance but we just aren't good enough. Not the players fault, not Sam's fault we've got an absentee owner and a clueless Board.

I be there are a lot of us in that boat! I told my wife months back if it hadn't done anything significant by the year end I'd start to get rid, but I'm like you M78M, something's got to give soon, the dam's got to burst at some point and then will be the time to take some profits. Just have to grin and bear it a bit longer., Chestec. The listing on the ASX isn't far away and that could give us a leg up. 12 months is a long time for nothing to happen-a lot of drilling in that time by SFR, cobre and all the other smaller companies we're invested in. I'm sure something will trigger a rise. Otherwise we'll be having the same conversation next year!!

Hello Fiercey. The "change" figure is nonsense. The bid/ask prices are the same as yesterday and even they don't match what you can sell and buy for . I've no idea what's going on -just have to continue to believe the SP will represent actual value soon.
