RE: Sandfire10 Mar 2021 10:23
Hello DP. I think the cause of our problem as shareholders is that nothing seems to shift the SP. We can talk all we want about the ASX listing, the prospects for Cobre/KML , the royalties from T3/A4 or the potential in the equity portfolio all against a backdrop of rising copper prices which is a potentially huge plus for all of these investments, but the fact is in the here and now investors seem unwilling to invest in MTR's potential, presumably because there have been too many false dawns in the past. Current shareholders are presumably prepared to wait for the potential to materialise, if only from fear of missing out if they sell, so the SP stagnates with few buying or selling in any significant amounts. However at some point some if not all of the potential will become real and the SP will just have to rise. When the T3 mine is up and running, when Sandfire report more brilliant assay results from A4 (and anywhere else they care to drill) and expand the mine, when Cobre/KML join in the party with their own drill campaign results, then buyers will emerge and we'll all be happy bunnies. Just might not be this Easter!
