I very much doubt the buyer of Sound will need to raise cash!
but I see yoiu are not interested in any positives.

I have been very clear and given a reasoned argument as to why I think the company is very undervalued by it's share price right now.

my point remaoins the same. on ANY sensible valuation the cashflow from TE5 makes an sp WAY north of here perfectly reasonable.
And when you factor in all the other value adding components the £1 a share valuation starts to look perfectly achievable, if not even conservative.

I'm sure there are things to reduce the headline 200 million.
but my point is EVEN if we halve it for ownership percentage and take off some opperating costs
on the basis of the cashflow from TE5 ALONE there is significant room for massive upside.

this totally ignores the rest of the pottential AND SM

£158 M / year from TE5
at £1 per share that's till only a PE of 6.7
and that ignores ANY upside from the rest of Tendrara and SM etc.

come on, sone one tell me these figures are wrong, because even taking in to account ownership % and discounting like mad this still looks like a serious opportunity.

this gives a pe ratio of 0.167

the average PE ration in O&G is 20-25!
to reach the top end of the avewrage PE ratio Sound market cap would need to increase by 147 times!

This is 60% of requirement for Morocco

GSA offer at present is 8-9$ mbtu
1020 btu in a cf

60m cf = 61,200,000,000 btu
= 61,200 mbtu
= $550,000 / Day
= $201M a year

This is JUST TE5
And people think Sound will be sold for 10p / share (100M or so)

wrong on so many levels.

I believe the apparent switch from drilling TE11 to rapidly up for sale is down to a pre agreed timetable with the government.
realistically TE11 would have taken at least 4 months. starting the sale process then would have probably meant no realistic chance of getting sold and the new owner getting gas flowing from TE5 in time to meet the 2021 deadline.
much more in play here than simple sale of Sound.
remember Sound can refuse to accept an offer.
the government needs gas by 2021.
if Sound don't sell in time, where does that leave the government?

it is in the interests of the government for Sound to be sold soon.

wants gas flowing before 2021 it suggests to me that the whole sale process will be compressed.
and is highly likely to have started before the rns, possibly quite a while before.

to get gas flowing by 2021 they need to be getting a move on.

also I suspect NOT giving the market the deadline is to stop, or make it harder for people to trade this.
it tells me the bod are trying to look after long term holders rather than short term traders.

if they've applied a deadline already it is pretty clear that they have been in negotiations for some time.

well at least if pottential buyers have been given a deadline it means there ARE pottentiual buyers!
