don't think that's right.
the mail clearly says a signed deal. a signed deal is a sale.
to get a signed deal we (shareholders) have to agree to an offer recommended by the bod.
ergo, to get a signed deal by year end we must get an offer rns before that in time to vote and complete the process.

anyone have examples of O&G sales that show time from recomended offer to signed deal?
given how long it takes to buy a house from offer to exchange, I would guess we are right at the sweet spot of an offer rns.

I received an e-mail that said this (direct copy / paste, no editing)

"We are currently guiding externally the process will be complete by end year which means either signed deal or closed process"

so, sale done and dusted before year end or rns saying we drill on.
to have a signed deal by year end (12 weeks) means we should know of offers pretty soon.

where I differ from many on here is that I accept that I chose to invest and am still hopeful of a good outcome. even if this goes completely t!ts up, the money I lose is down to MY decision to invest.
