Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
Hi Stevie nice to meet you. Fantastic point made, however, unfortunately people who advocated 20x growth from a position they're now 80% down on don't get a voice at the Avacta LSE table.
I suspect there's no LTHs left here, just unhappy -80% holders somehow convincing themselves they're in this for the big 500p pay day.
Good luck to the rest of the true holders, I'll probably re-join the gang if it gets back down to the original pre-covid 20p. I can't help but feel like the disaster with the LFT from the management team (does anybody remember "as soon as possible in the summer" 2020?) has somewhat taken the shine off the progress with the trials, and so it's difficult to justify the current sp @ double the pre-covid value.
Certainly looks Donald Ducked. Pending some fantastic cancer news in the future.
Shame on those who spammed nonesense here when those of us who don't pick their shares by putting balls in a cage and spinning a handle, tried to warn potential investors to the risks of this stock. Probably the same people who wear their masks in the bath.
Also, whilst I'm here "Our determination to only provide high quality, high performance diagnostic tests has led us to the correct decision to pause all marketing of the AffiDX®"
It's good when your CEO pauses sales of your high performing, highly successful products isn't it
Whatever helps you sleep at night guys. I've only ever been a shining beacon of light warning tho naive and innocent on here. It also helps that pretty much all of my predictions in relation to this stock have come true... but we'll chalk that down to luck ;)
Here's you go Apre, study hard - https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/exaggerate
Lol MrRipley.
Please enlighten us all with your latest valuation. If you could link us to your workings (and by workings, I don't mean the melatonin you use to slip you into a deep state of dreaming), I mean calculations e.g. DCFs, earnings multipliers, industry and company comparisons.
No, I didn't think so. Beware all. Take nothing except entertainment from these boards.
I mean, you were all warned to beware the 10 nut jobs on here quoting ludicrous share prices. The hopeium is strong here.
I will add though, Al has really let everyone down here. The funding leak that screwed over every private investor (apart from Al & his brokers mates) was one thing, but this product failure - after all the delays and promises, is another.
I've still got a tiny bit of hopeium left for the cancer trials, but even that is being tested now.. excuse the pun
Love all these people with 250p averages throwing comments around like "where are the derampers now" after a 5% rise off a positive RNS.
This board is full of nonsense - it's a shame some people lost their pensions over it.
Good news, but let's not kid ourselves, this is a punt.
@Mikey - who are the trolls? Those who advised investors to sell at £2 after the drop from £2.90. Or those who are STILL telling people to hold tight when their investment is worth down to 35% of what they purchased it for.
There's hope for Avacta yet, but this utter nonsense from some of the LTHs on here is v. damaging for new investors.
Lots of wishful thinking, there's definitely some elephants in the room re orders. Still big upside her once they come, but elephant none the less.
I think the harsh reality is that we're now broke as a country, with lots of other governments experiencing the same thing. They won't throw money at tests unless it solves the crowd problems. Looks like they're throwing all their eggs in the salvia basket, and it's anyones guess if those tests will make it to market or not. Bang or bust for these test companies I think. Some winners to come, and some losers.
Why doesn't ODX have any orders yet? They have capacity for 200k a weel, have sent us all a picture for expanding to 500k. They have their test signed sealed and ready to go, but not sold. Whats the verdict here?
Companies don't 100bag overnight, just as £BN companies aren't born overnight. Some of you really need to be more responsible with your posts, there's people who genuinely trade off these.
I actually got out of this today, it just feels far too risky for me. I've traded the ups and downs of ODX to some good profit, and I may get lured back in down the line post RNS. But this rumour is just far too risky.
One good Avacta RNS and this is back to 30-40p looking for sales of the Antibody tests. Although, I can perhaps see ODX manufacturing for Avacta/Cytiva if their test is approved. So people can stop arguing :)
@Regulator -"Avacta is an antigen test. UK-RTC/ODX is an antibody test" this was my point - the focus is on Antigen. We don't hear much noise coming from gov re antibody.
There isn't much momentum behind antibody testing at the minute. Avacta is getting all the praise from the Gov it seems, and more bad press re antibody tests yesterday.
The letter sent to Matt Han**** calls for urgent action.
The doctors say the tests should not be used without "professional back-up", must "give the right result" and be "properly readable".
A Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency official said it had "worked collaboratively with cross-government agencies at pace to prevent non-compliant antibody test kits being placed into the UK market".
But Royal College of Pathologists president Prof Jo Martin said: "Currently, if you buy a test on the internet or you buy it in certain boutiques or shops, we can't guarantee that the quality of that is of an appropriate standard.
"We can't guarantee that the result will be easy to interpret or that it will be not misleading."
Lots of nonsense on these boards re emails. Beware and don't be sucked in.
Read the RNS, the investor presentations and the media. Absolutely do not use the comments on these boards.
These boards are light entertainment only, for marker sentiments look at volume and price.
If no RNS tomorrow. can see a good entry at 50p. Lots of talk in the media re free antibody tests, now we need some confirmations.
