They buy it because it's been ramped several times before and they know it doesn't take much to profit from it, albeit temporarily.

there are always people who post 'leaky, leaky' because they want it higher before they get out... but i seriously doubt any new faces who are currently ramping this over the past week will still be posting as soon as reality reappears.

It's not that there's not a path to a higher price it's more that EQT as a private company can get there in weeks, not months. and the BoD will have to get okays from the investors. plus, how long will it take them to recover the price to the offer price? a lot of folk from 5 years ago are only getting to evens now BECAUSE of the EQT offers. if this were to slip back to £40.00 i find it hard to believe there'll be a good proportion of holders voting for some of the BoD to be replaced... and it won't be a good start for the incoming chair, stever mogford. if he's coming in on the 20th i hope he's not voting for refusal with the intention of 'proving' himself via the share price!

There can't be another final offer. that's it... unless they're invited back into negotiations. if boD turn this down then they risk their reps... unless there are sufficient supporters of their 'go it alone' plan... we'll see if there's any serious buying into close today and if the slight retrace is just loosening shares.

Hey, i'm just reading the room... the $300k Cirtec sale was just trial amounts... i don't know how long it'll take for them to sell and then get feecack on them... but it's not like commenting on an argos toaster... it'll take months to get the feedback sufficient to change companys' manufacturing.

as for the 10Ah, if Brompton is evidence of the progress then i'm not sure that's adding to the bottom line or influencing the sp (admittedly, it seemed to but i cannot fathom why).

if there's some kind of defence contract then great news but i'll wait and see if that comes good.

as for timing... they won't wait until there's a couple of months left before the money dries up. as the weeks go by the price will drop, if not propped up by contracts. leave it until spetember and it wont be pretty.

i have no doubt that 2027 will see some great news but the company can't survive on brompton's cash in 2027 and more grants.

they need security to say their runway goes into mid 2027... and for that, imo, they'll need more money.

but that's just my take and i don't think any generic news from the world about batteries will influence the sp.

With the world in the mess it is in but with utlities at a current high any resolution of hormuz will bring the prices down... going to be madness to turn this down... at least start negoitaitons... even if they can't move the price up any further they can do the right thing and get guarnatees for the head off cie to stay in the uk... do right by the workers AND the investors...

The 'wider market' should be an irrelevance with the news that's anticipated. the 'wider market' doesn't have an acquisition and money put aside to match the US grant. what is missing is the proof that things are progressing to the benefit of revenue. the sp won't climb on unrealised targets.

the only counter to that is that expectation will be realised eventually. meanwhile, the sp feels weak and a flush could easily push it back to 40...

It's going to take forever to realise sales, in spite of the quality of the product.

they don't have the clout to do major revenue... this reminds me of Bellascura and their oxygen equipment for ... whatever it was. it's great for a company to take at bargain bottom price but i don't think 12p is the bottom price. last year's 9p seems feasible, esp. at fundraising price... which then makes a takeover more credible at the lower price.

If they reject it it gets messy. expect an EGM to oust the BoD, trying to re-engage with EQT and then months of mess with the BoD missing out on their LTIPS, caree blot and spend on pr to 'prove' their plans for the company... while they probably have the same plans as EQT, the private company can get it done a lot quicker and BoD will have to content with an sp that drops to £40 before getting to... £68 in two ear's time... is it really worth it?!?!

There must already be a couple of activist investors pushing for this to happen?

Would be nice to hear something, even if only a reach rns or linkedin something to say what that money is pencilled in for... would have thought it was easy enough to get a binding MoU allowing for the name of the company to be announced and still have room to manoeuvre if the dd isn't what it's cracked up to be. but they must surely have been in on this for months, now...

The chances of the sp sliding to pre-interest levels would cause uproar, surely?

not sure how boD can prove their options cna prove more profitable or, at least, get the sp back to £60 if they then have to find the instruments to get the price back to that price from a refusal price of, say, £40?

Not sure what the market is waiting on... it's not as if they haven't the cash to pay it and it's not as if that wasn' the tactic to see if they could squeeze more out of them.

Bit of delusion settling in now... i've already said my last sell was at 0.65 and my last day trade was at 0.5 so i'm still quids in.

i don't mind the most recent buyers taking over the ramping as it saves some of the dolk deeper in the red from putting in the hours.

but if there's no news this week (and i seriously doubt there'll be any news ouside of a placing) then it'll just be business as usual.

Mm's don't 'manipulate' this share more or less than any other. if you mean they widen the spread because they don't want to hold shares unless there's someone who wants to buy/sell them then... fair enough.

but it's utter bs to suggest GST is a 'special case' for mm manipulation. they're not the barnado's of shares, having to take in rubbish shares when noone wants them.

the sp is a reflection of the dire pr or comms from the BoD which, incidentally is now7 weeks into the last date of their own specified timeline for reapplication for MICA.

you can bang on all you want about 'how do you know they haven't'... but i'd counter that with 'why wouldn't they, considering the dire state of the sp?

still waiting on the sp... it might not now be as low as 0.13, if last week's ramp was the excuse for a fundraise... but maybe as low, as, if it WERE happening, they'd need to guarantee a big enough margin to make selling worthwhile.

guess we'll see... but not seeing anything from the ompany (unless the ramping is done by their own 'hired hands' to get it going.
