Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
(that said, the only time i've seen total shares volume being scrutinised is after a takeover offer! )
dispapointing lull after friday's trading frenzy (and that's another one i don't get: sellers below the placing price!).
guess we all find out whether this was a storm in a teacup or otherwise this week... either way, some side or other will be crowing!
(you get i was joking?)
i actually have no clue as to the value of bringing forward what is just an issuance number as, if what everyone else has said these shares have already been sold into the market, it's just a tidying up exercise? (that said, if it WAS beause someone was going to put an offer on the table i wouldn't get upset).
I'd cope with that one Wednesday!
(but not this year... ) 😁
Someone's going to buy them out for 20p a share...
It gets a little boring for holders to call anyone who trades 'idiot's especially as holders of this share are invariably underwater if they've held for more than two weeks!
people do what people do and that's fine. the only problem i have with and discussion is pushes in either direction without any real basis.
and it's true to say that this share is and has been under the cosh from some repeat/consistent sells to new lows which i find incomprehensible... but i get some folk taking a profit from the drop. that siad, i'd be surprised if they get to enjoy buying at that level again but... never say never. have to trust that that buy in the paints division will be repeated a few times and then emulated by the other division too.
Even if you might not want to get in... but, just in case.
if they're new accounts then they're invariably old hands who want an alt. identity, either to disguise their opriginal position or have been banned recently but have enough 'knowledge' on the subject to dive straight in on the disussion...
i think it's generally accepted that this is now cheap... might get slightly cheaper (though more likley that they'll just widen the spread). either way, historically, this is cheap (flipside being that a lot of folk have higher averages than current sp)
This isn't the rns that was expected... this is left field and very welcome... it also shows that there really isn't any area of the company that is going to be the poor relative.
fully expecting to see another rns in the next week or two about orders for extinguishers... that, or the next testing event in (was it) Madrid?
be interesting to see if there's any traction with the next bush fire drama (not that i want to see it but... )
be nice if the spread would stop being such a d*ck, too!
want to see 4p in the next month...

What's hilarious is one person thinking they can sway the markets with their new account and trotting out personal pops at another retailer, as if they're the main shareholder!
cheeseus! the inanity of it all.
If you're going to troll then at least have the courtesy to get the spelling right, you pretentious git!
That big a sell would've killed the sp... it wasn't a sell... or, if it was it's been the drag on the rise as it soaked up the buys until it was done.
monday for the start of the climb.
Can't tell if sp's been crushed to fill this or if this is the sell that's pulled the sp down but... either way, it should put be an end to the lows... roll on next week!
Damned frustrating that it can't hold a decent price and spread looks like it's designed to kill any interest.
have to wait to get those contract rns'
Mad the way trading suddenly just dries up.
so, monday, it is!
Yes, that's true. but that would depend on how many they managed to forward sell... but, in which case, they mucst be on fumes by now!
If these shares are the placing shares still being offloaded then can't see why they'd be selling, evenb if at evens.... ish.
either way... still wanting 1.20 by close, as long as the buying pressure continues.

Maybe 1.7...
