My brokers X-O Dealing charge £20 + VAT for this service. Worth every penny to stop the bandits stealing the company.

Emailed my brokers X-O Dealing today to find out how I can register my 600k NO vote. Hopefully will get a response early next week.

Following mrtibbles line of reasoning there are possible skeletons in the Shanta cupboard that only the BOD is aware of. You'd think then they would have released the bad news to depress the share price before the TO offer. I guess Mr Patel is a philanthropist who just wants to give us a good exit price before the bad news gets out.

"Time to move on from Shanta... hold and tie up your dough for 6 months or sell"

I think anyone would be mad to sell, even if it was 6 months (which is unlikely). Whilst it's likely we will be taken out of 13.65p, how you going to feel if a higher bid were to materialise. Not good.

So hold for an annualised 11.6% or find a stock that guarantees a better return. Any suggestions DLT?

Not sure why EZ is backing such an appalling offer after all the positive hype in the presentations this year. Even saying at one point he was a gold bug who believed the gold price was going over $8000 per oz. Now backing an offer intimating gold price is going to fall away. The whole liquidity argument stinks too. Only only really impacts the few big [already rich] holders as opposed to the numerous retail investors.

Also, why the big push this year to keep production as high as possible with new underground equipment for NLGM. And floating the idea of doubling Singida production and a super-pit. Would've make more sense to drag their feet and keep their plans under wraps before trying a low-ball TO offer. Am expecting a more negative spin on the full year results and delays to drilling RNS to try and justify their contemptable offer.
