Apologies to you Noel if I've upset you. Just discussing the general risk of mining in Africa (not even focusing on Nigeria) seems a bit pointless. Not much the company can do to mitigate that: either we will continue operate or we won't. Seems a bit sad to be discussing such nebulous negative issues just after a great RNS on operation performance.

Just appeared to me at the time that you were trying to talk the share down for a better re-entry price after selling (I had no doubt you did buy in August!). Again, my unreserved apologies if I have mis-judged you there. I actually have enjoyed following your posts on other mining stocks that I'm invested in.

Sorry, I cannot take anyone seriously who's main argument is "Africa is not safe for miners" (Sept 2024) and using the example of the T/O of Acacia Mining in 2019. Yet back in August 2024 they claim to have bought THX shares. I guess they had an epiphany since then.

Always somewhat suspicious of negative people on these boards who don't even own shares in the company. (a) Are they paid derampers? (b) Are they people looking to depress the SP so they can buy in cheaper (particularly when they previously held shares)? (c) Or are they just altruistic people who are doing this because they are worried about us losing money?

II are allowing sells at the Ask price of 38p. Possibly big order being filled like yesterday? Maybe not the time to sell.

Good spot Sturm. I too thought we'd passed the top end guidance based on the cumulative total, but forgot it was a leap year.

My PAF shares are in an ISA with II and have had the 20% Withholding tax applied. So, as RatBoy has already mentioned, some kind of paperwork may be required to get the full amount for non-SA residents.

Just got my dividend payment through from II with a value of 0.76755p per share.

FWIW, THX now has a ranking of 100 in Stockopedia. Don't know how reliable these rankings are, but maybe might attract a few buyers who use the App.

Well, I doubt they'll pay out a 50% dividend, more like 2% as SHG did. Really just a token amount at this stage.

For myself, I'm with Adw198 on this one. Seems much more logical to get the accounts payable down and use the money for developing Douta. Dividends can wait until we have two mines producing.

Thanks for that. Sounds like "money back to shareholders in first half of next year" is on the table, possibly in the form of dividends. Be interested to know what everyone thinks about that...

Last time POG hit $2600 PAF dipped to 33.3p, so definitely oversold. The gold-bugs on KWN predicted a consolidation for POG to around this level (or even a bit lower) given the amount of open interest, so not really unexpected. Good opportunity to top up on PAF before the next leg up towards $3000 in 2025, particularly given the recent Aus acquisition.

Pleased to see them explicitly state "[Rain] delayed high-grade ore access to Q4 2024." That is what we'd been inferring from the operational targets, so it's good to see it officially confirmed that was in all in the plan to mine high grades in H2 (as opposed to processing the stockpile).

Taking the year as a whole, the reduction in production is more than offset by a reduction AISC. Also, the gold is still in the ground. We just just get to mine it next year with, most likely, a higher POG.
