Good spot break. I missed that comment from Brad in his last interview. I just rewatched it again. Is it just me or does Brad seem more confidant about the future than usual?

No one really knows what’s going on with Anza. Personally, I’d be very disappointed if they sell it. Not sure if that’s on the cards though. If we are to believe Brad, he has said numerous times he’d like the project back. What form that takes, who knows.

To be frank, I like this project. Despite brad’s short comings as a ceo, thusfar, he knows his geology.

Wolfy, my thoughts also. If the share price can get back into the teens, a small raise could be contemplated to fund these JV’s.

My initial reaction was not another JV. However, I don’t think they would have entered into this if a Columbia resolution was not on the horizon. There is no upfront payment so cash wise they should be ok for 6 months at least.

Gold is going gangbusters today. Only a matter of time when micro caps start catching a bid. Bought 50,565 just now for old times sake !

Just had a thought. Newmont clearly want out, Brad has said as much. Could newmont be negotiating with a third party to sell their entire stake? Could account for the delays and crushed share price

Does agnico even figure into the equation?

The agreement was between omi and newmont. Agnico was bought in by newmont at a later date. As far as I’m aware, omi do not have any legal obligations to agnico?

So it doesn’t really matter what agnico demand or want. Omi can tell them to take a hike.

I think Louis is in charge of contract negotiations. Personally, I don’t think Louis and Brad are bad guys, it’s just that events have conspired against them. The three year bear market hasn’t helped. Stalwarts like newmont and Barrick nearly touched their covid panic lows recently.

Looking at the drop today, I thought there had been some news. Miners across the pond took a big fall yesterday so it probably just sentiment.

Aim is for widows and orphans sadly. It’s a roulette wheel I’m afraid. But that’s why we’re all here. The odd one will multi fold and be successful. Few and far between though.

I think talks are a lot more amicable than we think or are led to believe. Newmont clearly want to walk. Agnico came in late to the JV so not sure if they can demand anything.

I think the political situation and mine attacks in Columbia caused the majors to pause and consider pulling out. They’re the worlds no1 and 3 producers so can’t afford adverse publicity

The delay is frustrating but it seems clear to me that the partners are going to walk. OMI have known that for a while but have held back from announcing for whatever reason. Will the share price take a hit? Possibly.

I welcome the news. Find another partner.
