I was hoping to buy at 2p or under. Don’t think we’ll get there with gold taking off.

Bought around 200k last few days in small tranches. Don’t want to push the price up. Not much speculative interest here. Everyone is waiting for concrete news I guess. Makes sense. It’s a gamble buying beforehand.

The alternative view could be that omi want to drill a few holes in Pepas which should yield good results given that they've already found gold there, and THEN find a new partner on more attractive terms.

Didn't the previous management follow the same tack before they partnered with Newmont? (namely, prove up Apta with drilling).

Impecunious, I can only guess that investor appetite was not there to partake in a fund raise from a higher level . Perhaps these new/old investors wanted a safe cushion level and a guaranteed hit after placees were burnt in the 2020 17p placing.

Bhargav, you are scare mongering. The tweet does not imply another raise, only 4 weeks after the last one, is imminent.

Rather, the tweet implies to me that they wish to drill pepas asap, release good results and perhaps raise in 6 months time.

Recall the first drill hole in virgin territory, Pepas, produced 150m at 3G/t

It looks like the market is waiting to see the terms of the Anza claw back before re-rating the shares. Hopefully, Brad and Louie struck a good deal for shareholders.

Not much buying has pushed the price up. Hard to buy when it’s rising.

Yes, omi is a very high risk play Jack but I think it could quite easily 10 fold from such a low, depressed level with 90% of shareholders bearish. That in itself is a bullish sign. I'll wait a month or two and see what happens. I'm expecting momentum to build.

Gold is strong last few trading sessions. Is it leaving the station? Not far from all time highs. Need a bit of confidence returning to the mining sector

Cheers Seingred. If I can buy 30% or more below the placing price, I think it’s a good risk/reward. Obviously, no guarantees though.

Personally, I think the gold complex has more or less bottomed from the 2020 spike highs. This bear market is pretty long in the tooth.

Is a turnaround imminent? I think so.

That’s just my opinion though. No advice intended.

Yes, it’s a gamble bhargav. That’s the nature of AIM. If I lose money, it will be my fault, no one else’s.

It could lower. Indeed, I think it will. I’m hoping for a big addition between 1.8-2p but I think the MM’s won’t allow big buys in that price range.

Buying around 2p I think is good since the placing was at 3p. Plus there is pdac next week. Perhaps we might finally get anza resolution and a cloud of uncertainty lifted.

John, 1.6p was the historic low. It could get there. Or it might not. Best to scale in when buying rather than shooting your load all at once.

Bought 240,000 just now. Wouldn’t allow me to buy more. I thought I’d better get my buy order in before bhargav !

I plan to buy more at 2p, 1.8p and finally 1.6p.

Chicken, sensible posts. Sadly, it seems omi has broke Bhargav. I’ve never seen so much greed and fear exhibited by one man. He rode this share from 2p to 45p and then rode it all the way back down to 2p - that would destroy anyones mind.

I hope he finds peace of mind soon.
