John, a partnership will come of that i'm sure but what Brad intends to do first is add value by proving up a second resource at Anza, namely Pepas which could turn out to be bigger than Apta which it is reckoned has 2m oz's (not been proved up yet though).

Carters, omi have 100% of the Anza project back whereas before they only had 50% - that in itself has to be value accretive. In addition, there is no up front cost to omi of regaining full control from Agnico and Newmont. Not for 7-10 years at least.

Nice confidant buys John. You will be handsomely rewarded on a 6-12 month view imho. Don't worry too much about the daily fluctuations if the long term trend is up.

What we want to see is higher highs as we move up into fresh price territory and on the pull backs we don't want to see lower lows, but rather, higher lows.

Yes, I guess warrant holders will convert in dribs and drabs. Some may want to take an instant profit some may decide to hold off and see how the share price performs.

Thats a good point Legalwolf. A few million placing shares have no doubt already been cleared. There will be the warrants to clear as well when we're in the 5-10p range. Shouldn't be a problem on the back of Pepas drill results.

Legal wolf, perhaps you're right regarding the placing overhang given the big sells at the end of day. I've just re-read the placing RNS which does not make clear how the warrants can be exercised. If a placee sells their placing shares I thought they would lose their entitlement to claim the warrants. perhaps they don't lose that entitlement.

If that is the case, it would be very generous.

Advance, pull back, consolidation, advance....thats how most shares rise long term; just have to make sure the pullbacks are less than the advance. i.e. you don't want to see lower lows. Rather higher lows.

I believe the market is pricing Orosur incorrectly now that it looks like they will have 100% of Anza back. Remember, Omi was valued a lot higher than this before and that was solely based on Omi owning only 50% of Anza.

This price anomaly won't last long imho.

People will say there is a pay back, yes, but that is in 7-10 years time!

Just to add, i'm a buyer at these prices. We've had a nice little pull back post Columbia RNS and I don't see much further downside over coming days.

Zap, good to see a long term holder sit patiently all these years without griping. I too was disappointed as well but instead of moaning I used the price crash to increase my holding to 1.7m shares. After all, the asset was still there.

I don't believe the Bod were responsible for the share price going down to 2p. The blame lies squarely on Newmont and Agnico for placing Anza into C&M and lets not forget we had a three year bear market in precious metals.

Anyway, that's history now.

Personally, I do not think the selling is coming from placement holders. Most likely the shares were placed with institutional investors, albeit small ones, who have a 1-3 year time horizon. The warrants have a window of 2 years to be converted to ordinary shares. If the share price gets to 10-15-20p in the next 18 months the likelihood increases they will exercise their right to convert the warrants to shares at 4.4p; and sell at that point.

I might be wrong but when a placing share holder elects to take the warrants omi have to announce via RNS because the shares in issue will change.

Legalwolf, is there a placing overhang? 17m shares were recently placed at 2.95p but I would be surprised if they’re selling already with a marginal gain. Not only that, they’d be forfeiting their warrants by selling the ordinary shares now.
