Doc, good post. We need more sensible posters here. Nothing wrong with being bearish but people should keep it factual and free from emotion.

Maybe I’m over analysing it but I don’t think the Bod would have raised money at an historic low if shareholders like bhargav had not been such a pain in the ass.

Perhaps they could have waited a couple of months and raised money after the Anza resolution?

Obviously we’re not privvy to the internal machinations so maybe they had no choice but to raise now.

So let’s just wait and see. I still believe the Bod are working for shareholder interests.

Bhargav, allow me to have the last word. The placing at 2.95p was frustrating but perhaps it might not have happened if you had not been such a vocal pain in the ass to the bod? No doubt you were firing off emails everyday venting your anger. Perhaps they might have waited to raise after the anza resolution?

I noticed omi’s Twitter account does not allow replies. I can understand why if people just post nonsense.

I think you should refrain from nonsensical posts and think logically before you write. It’s not doing the share price any good.

Bhargav, we should call it a day. My main point was that if you agitated too much, the directors could have thought, sod the shareholders, we're going to DELIST. Or issue a BILLION shares. Or whatever to get rid of the annoying shareholders.

In the old days, directors used to employ a strategy called the 'poison pill' to ward of hostile takeovers/shareholders. Namely, they would dilute the existing shareholders to smithereens through share issues/bonds..etc. Thats just one of many tactics directors can employ. Bhargav is living in cloud cuckoo land if he thinks he could have installed new directors.

With small tiddlers like OMI, invest wisely and don't over commit like Bhargav. You can never win against directors/insiders if you become too belligerent.

Bhargav, your comments are plain silly. By the time you removed the bod, the company would have delisted wiping out shareholders. And there would be nothing you could do about it.

Fair point Jack. Temporary rumeneration in shares for the bod would have been advisable and instilled confidence.

Over the years though, i've seen a lot of promising AIM companies suddenly delist with the directors and outside financiers keeping any future potential riches for themselves. Small investors can't win on the AIM market if we agitate too much.

Bhargav, if you had succeeded in removing the Bod what would have prevented them from delisting the company or taking it private or placing it into administration? You are very naive.

Bhargav was trying to lead a shareholder revolt. I'm glad he did not succeed. He could have helped destroy this company and all the money we've invested. A lot of AIM companies delist or wind up and sell the assets leaving shareholders high and dry.

Jack, I instructed my broker to vote in favour of all the resolutions. Not sure if it was registered though. I agree voting is important for shareholder democracy. Personally, I don't see the point of rocking the boat. Changing the Bod during a bear market would not have made a difference imho. if anything it could have caused the share price to crash to 0.1p or even worse, bankruptcy.

I think their plan was to diversify the company and move away from total dependence on Anza which they managed to do on a shoe string budget. In my book, that plan aligned well with shareholders. Going forward, no big funds would invest in a one trick pony so it was vital to diversify. I would like to see the Bod add significantly once they get Anza back though.

Gervaise or anyone could not have prevented the share price crashing here. Brad and Louie inherited a one trick pony in a dodgy jurisdiction and I agree Anza has dragged on for too long and that they need to invest significantly more in shares. I didn't like the placing either or the problems with voting.

We can either cry about it constantly like Bhargav or rather think logically and look to the future. I think the Bod navigated the three year bear market well without massive dilution.

Now, Orosur are diversified, are on the cusp of getting Anza back at no up front cost and can start drilling as soon as next month. So, its a short term hold if nothing else.

Chicken, confidence can be built very quickly with one simple strategy:share price appreciation.

It doesn't matter what the bod say or do or what deals they strike or what grades they drill. Investors are only interested in one thing and that is the share price. Bhargav has admitted it. He will turn bullish if the share price gets to 20p!No doubt he will singing the bod's praises. Investors have very short memories.

Bhargav, that's very frank of you. So you're an out-and-out gambler? Its ruined many a good man unfortunately. Indeed, i've done it in the past but losing lots of money is a good cure for that malady.

Have you heard of Stockholm Syndrome where the captor falls in love with the jailer? You seem to have an unhealthy love/hate relationship with Orosur. I daresay you will turn super bullish if/when the shares ever get to 20p.

I can't understand why'd you'd want to stick around after the company has disappointed you so much? Even if you decide to trade only on a short term basis, you could still get caught out by a spike down or up and get stuck for a year or two. Do you really want to go through that again? Is it wise to put yourself through that mental anguish? Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide.

Bhargav, I can understand why you're angry. You've lost money. I'm guessing a boat load of money running into the 10's of 1000's. I gather you were buying in the 30-40p range. Whatever possessed you to do that? Basically, you bought a spike and got caught out. You watched the price go up from 5p to 40p yet you bought more in the 30's??? Thats a rookie mistake. Greed got the better of you imho.

You were so certain in your belief that you're onto a winner that all logic went out of the window. Arrogance has led to the downfall of many a stock investor. No one is bigger than the market. Shares can really go down as well as up.

You appear glued to the share price every minute of the day. Surely that's not good for your mental health? To get peace of mind you need to exit Omi when you can and put the whole last 4 years down to experience.

Otherwise Orosur will continue to give you nightmares.

Chicken, you’ve probably lost money like bhargav and John but at least your posts are rational. A few years ago, bhargav used to get quite angry when anyone posted anything remotely bearish. He’s done a complete 180. I’m going to rename him Dr Doom. The sooner he clears off the better! But I don’t think he will clear off. He will stick around when the share starts going up🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽
