Rob, when Brad was talking about elephant country he had a placing to get away. Everyone has their own agenda, even posters here who switch between bullish and bearish.

Having said that, i'm bullish and will be holding for the next several years.

If I’m reading your post correctly, you’re saying the indicated resource has gone from 2-300k oz’s to 2.3m ? Quite a jump. Also, are you no longer worried about the forestry protection order?

Always good to see more shareholders Ageos. I guess the tipping point for you was when gold was discovered at a second location. Increases the chance of multiple hits on various allotments.

Ggp vs omi comparisons are valid. The only fly in the ointment is jurisdiction: Australia vs Columbia.

Get rid of the political risk and threat of illegal mining and omi should fly. I expect the partners are talking to local govt how to combat this going forward.

For the moment, the market is pricing omi lower due to the political risk

Increased spend is probably to do with Brazil. Should tail back soon. Cash balance will be $5m by early Jan so no immediate concern

I don't see the partners wanting to buy out Anza. Its a long haul game. Besides, they can own up to 90% of it, if it goes to production (from memory).

Rob, I agree, re warrants. Brad has to move pretty sharpish. But...

1) how many of the original warrant holders are still holding the placing shares?
2) would the warrant holders want to see a consistent share price above 25p for several months before committing more funds? (I know I would)

Agree though, the next news needs to be transformational to get the warrants away. We need either:

1) stellar drill results.
2) or, more more likely, written agreement on phase 2 (with perhaps increased funding above $20m).

Looks oversold today. Price is bedding in. Don't see it going lower than 14/15p

Yep, PP Brad pulled a shrewd deal there. I've been expecting another one or two JV's last few months but nothing yet. Hurry up Brad before the sector heats up. Next year, gold should move to $2000 and beyond imo

A lot of anticipation built in for tomorrow about phase 2. We have no idea how the rns will be worded and how the market will react. I wish it weren't so. Its better to be surprised.

They’ve taken it up to the wire for sure. Could the rns read something like, ‘we’re still in discussions on phase 2 and no agreement has yet been reached’. Just playing devils advocate. Even if negotiations extend for another month or two, I have no doubt the partnership will continue.

Phase 2 is a dead cert and it’s probably baked into the current price. Could see high teens on announcement but to hold there we need some drill news on papas and pupino.

Balanced post rob. With all the good news expected I don’t think the share price will move beyond 25-35p this year. But importantly, that will be enough to get the warrants away.

I’m ok with slow and steady.

Starbright, its called recency bias. We expect present trends to continue. I recall bhargav was buying at 40p. When the ramping gets too intense, I normally trade a few :)

Lot of talk of fund raisings.

Brad, on numerous occasions has said they have no plans for a fund raising this year. I’d be surprised if he goes back on that. He would lose credibility imo. Indeed it would be silly do it now when the share price is so weak.

Good posts PP. The potential at Anza is definitely there, no doubt. However, MMA's first concern is getting all the drilling permits. They won't release block buster grades until permits are sorted imo. Columbia has a problem with illegal miners, slow-walking officialdom and there is a presidential election this month. I expect they will want to keep it low key for now.

If bhargav was a fund manager, I would withdraw my money completely. He was recommending this up to 50p!

Having said that, I’m still long and strong and know it could be a multi year hold. Patience.

I paraphrase, but I am somewhat surprised that Brad hinted quite strongly that agnico are keen to move into phase two.

When the announcement does come the market may have priced it in. The next phase of share price appreciation will be a slow, long burn imo with no crazy spikes. Not good for traders but I prefer it this way.
