I think the third quarter could be pretty explosive imho. Sometimes you have to read between the lines. The third quarter has been mentioned by orosur a few times, a period during which they expect the pace to pick up with drill results.

Yes breaktwister. The fifth rig was a surprise to me. They must have seen something. My take, given this news, is that they will expand the drill beyond the initial 3,000m and 7,000m programmes.

Not only that, there may be a change to the agnico, newmont, orosur deal. Why do I say that? In year three of the agreement which runs from sept 2020 to sept 2021, the allocated spend is $4m which they must be fast approaching given the pace of drilling.

I think Agnico will need to chip in soon. They must nearly be reaching the $4m allocated for the sept 2021 year.

Actual spread is a bit tighter than the quoted spread. Watch out for director buys. I think we have seen the nadir.

What a difference six months makes. Bullishness was off the charts back then. We’re at rock bottom now. Sentiment can’t get much lower.

Just to add, I think we could get a bunch of results together sometime in June. In the scheme of things, its not too long to wait imho.

I think the best thing we can do is let them get on with the drilling. I'd rather wait for the results rather than push them to release incomplete assays too soon. Who knows, they could be drilling in Charrascala or Guimarala but don't want to make a big song and dance about it. All we know they added an additional rig and expanded the drilling by a further 7,000m.

Yes, I was also a bit surprised at mamba’s post but I was a bit more gentle in my criticism lol. It’s a bit surprising given he was super bullish before but I think the dip below 20p spooked him. With AIM stocks you can’t have a hard stop loss imho. Otherwise you could get locked out. You either believe the story or you don’t.

From an older post, I note mamba sold ggp early. Not a criticism. Happens to the best of us.

Thanks guys. vicjain, I also sold GGP too early. Then had to buy back at a substantial premium. I am Not making the same mistake here.

· A considerable volume of samples remains at the laboratory of ALS in Peru, which has experienced substantial delays in turnaround times due to Covid related staff shortages. These issues are slowly being resolved and it is anticipated that assay delays will be reduced in the next quarter.

Also, they’ve expanded their field activities so I’ve got no worry in that respect re drilling. It’s all down to the drill results now. Very little is priced in currently in that respect imo.

· Apart from drilling at the APTA prospect, work commenced on regional mapping and sampling across the wider lease holding. A large program of BLEG sampling commenced, which once analysed should provide vectors to more targeted programs in following quarters.

Results maybe next week imo but it’s hard to say with the covid delays.

On an aside, I need to review my opinion that omi will be range bound until the second half of the year. If gold is starting an up leg to $2000, which seems likely, omi could trend higher alongside.

I beginning to get the impression the company is gearing up for an eventful second half of the year with licenses and assays. Im not expecting fireworks before then. If we can tread water in the 18-25p range until then, that will be a good foundation to build from.

The following bit was interesting. It reads as if some licenses have been granted or about to be. Just one application remaining.

· The Company has commenced work on converting the last of its secure license applications to granted status so that they can be accessed for exploration work later in the year.

Yep results should arrive Monday. Not really a fan of price appreciation beforehand but 17-18p should be a solid floor if punters panic sell like last time.

If you believe in the long term story, now is the right time to buy. Omi has done a double bottom, so has gold. People are wary after last time, understandably, but if you can buy below the warrant price of 25p I think you’ll be ok.
