In future, omi should lay off the conference calls unless it is accompanied by an RNS imho.

Chartists out there would say this is just a long A-B-C price correction following the 45p high in October las year. The correction is taking a horizontal form.

Could be heading down towards the placing unfortunately. Been in this stock for ages and for a couple of years I did not look at the stock price, just watched out for the RNS's. Watching the price would have done my head in !

My take? The last two weeks have shown unusual price behaviour in that the share price has been remarkably steady within a tight range. First time that has happened since September. A good sign perhaps that we won’t see wild gyrations.

Today’s conference call should not result in a price plunge or price spike. All imho of course.

True Sotolo, but I'm guessing he knew the share price won't hover around 5p for long hence why he did not ask the company brokers to place his shares with a willing buyer.

Also, he could sell now or when it ran up to 40p recently. Salazar still seems happy to hold according to other posters who have regular contact with him.

Mr Salazar has close to a million shares and I was surprised he did not liquidate his holding when he left the company. He clearly sees the potential here.

Also, the former ceo of waymar resources also has a million shares still after selling a million back in 2018.

Agreed. The conference call was reassuring. This is a marathon not a sprint. Haven’t added to my holding for a while but plan to add a six figure amount in the low 20’s.

Yes, I got that impression. Brad mentioned Agnico’s VMS Columbia mine is huge. But patience is required. Keep tucking away and add as the story develops.

Money management is good. They “haven’t touched” the placing money they raised last November.

Vic, the whole gold sector is weak, not just OMI. Many juniors are down 40,50,60%. Also, we got to remember six months ago the stock price was 5p. Such monster gains need time to digest imho.

Ok. I thought MMAP 80 was part of the next drilling campaign. They’ve only just started drilling that hole.

Is there a MMAP 79? Turner Pope alluded to 8 drill holes.

1st of march next Monday and I think gold will perform better in Q2. Its been consolidating for seven months since august last year. Getting a bit long in the tooth imo.

iii are quoting a really tight spread just now. 25.9p to sell. 25.95p to buy. Took advantage. I think a further rise might be coming. Slow and steady is fine by me.
