Didn’t realise their was a stock overhang rob. In that case, omi should move up soon. Good place to add while it’s down here. Seems like a no brainier on a 6-12 month view.

Agreed, today’s rns substantially derisks omi. Many were expecting a rocket launch. Not going to happen. We could have a few weeks of sideways price action with an upward bias until the next drill results. Happy to hold.

Newmont will end up owning 80% of omi so I don't see an offer anytime soon unless there is a monster discovery which is unlikely given what Brad said, namely that the nature of the find suggests that there will be a slow but regular addition to tonnage as drilling develops.

If Newmont do ever buy omi they will most likely buy Agnico as well.

No need to be conservative with the price of gold. We’re in the foothills of a multi year bull market. It could hit $2500-$3000k this year imo.

Me personally, I'm not. After the 17p lows, price advanced to 31p and pulled back to a higher low at 21p before rising again. Based solely on the chart, that is positive.

This stock is a case book example of investor psychology with wild oscillations between fear and greed. Mind you, might not be investors fault. This stock is either going up or down lol. Would be nice if it moved horizontally for a bit. I think that time will come when we're up to a £100m market cap.

The MM’s have kept a wide spread since the 17p lows and the gnashing of teeth and meltdown by posters here.

I think the reason is to prevent traders from jacking this about. I don’t mind. This is an investors share.

That is why Brad hinted he might prepare a NI 43-101 report after the initial 2,400m of drilling. He will be looking to report at least a 1m oz inferred resource.

Been watching this sucker for 10 years+. I think this uptrend has further legs. It’s too slow and steady (compared to previous action).

At some point in the next few years explorers will go mental as It dawns on the market the lack of new gold discoveries in a rising price environment.

Others have opined if omi buy a new project that would boost the share price. Sorry, that’s a very bad idea. Omi are hardly flush with cash and that would surely guarantee more dilution. Besides, mediocre projects are too highly valued in the current gold price environment as brad astutely noted.

They need to preserve their cash and not come back to the market for several years. 10 years ago omi bought a project in Chile for $14m and it turned out to be a funckin dud !

Dialled into the AGM today and heard the chairman talking about a presentation and Q&A in January. Call me dumb but why would you do a presentation if the drilling is a dud lol?
