I was thinking initially 25p but now after the Brad George interview where he said we want liquidity so funds can trade in and out, I’m thinking price could settle around 50-60p. A market cap comfortably above £50m is required for institutions so they are allowed to trade.

Either way it is a win-win for Orosur. They have got a guaranteed partner in either Newmont or Agnico depending on the size of the discovery.

Munch asks why did Newmont give away 37%. Valid question. Newmont are in it for a discovery of 5 million ounces +. If it proves up to be about 1-5m oz, they will let their share go to Agnico. If it proves to be a monster find, I think Newmont will buy out both orosur and Agnico.

Newmont are the worlds number One producer and need large discoveries.

Yep, I saw what Brad said about Uruguay. They've got until September 2021 to dispose of the assets, the sale of which will go to the creditors unless Orosur (in combination with another company) could offer the creditors a better deal. Could be possible in a high gold price environment.

Is there a possibility Orosur could strike a Newmont type deal for exploration rights in Uruguay? Its a massive under explored land package which would be economic in a high price gold price environment. They have a $100m processing facility just sitting there.
Nine months ago ago Orosur were in the process of selling the exploration rights in Uruguay but that deal never went through. Why? Has Brad George got different plans? They have been very quiet about Uruguay lately.

My thinking is why let that land package go cheaply when gold is set to rise for many years.

Good interview. Highlights for me.

1) They will kick-off with a 3000m drill program with assay results in the new year.

2) Overhead costs have been reduced 40%. Thus there will be no dilution here!

My take is that once drilling starts, the $8m will be spent quickly, then AEM and NMT will move quickly to phase 2 without waiting.

Good point. AEM will have close relationships with local officials and could help guide Orosur/Newmont through the licensing procedure.

Newmont are new to Columbia. AEM are already on the ground there so can easily deploy personnel and may have strategic knowledge of the surrounding landscape. That’s my take fwiw.
