Stocks spend most of the time moving horizontally. When a re-rate happens, particularly with minnows, it is usually sudden and violent. Just got to be patient and hold.

As they say, you got to be in it to win it.

I always like it when a company uses the word "transform(ational)".

Reading between the lines and looking at previous statements, I detect a more optimistic tone from the CEO:

"After many months of hard and patient work, the Company has managed to crystalize two deals which provide a platform to transform Orosur: an agreement in Colombia with Newmont which provides the structure, financing and technical support to build a significant project in Anzá, and a significant vote of confidence from an impressive majority of 70% of the Loryser creditors to our proposed plan to reach a fair and balanced solution to the re-organisation proceedings in Uruguay. We are delighted with these two milestones and very aware of the work in front of us and our commitment to deliver on both agreements.”

This could indeed be 10p by the end of the month, But then again, it may not. The market has a lot more patience than the average AIM punter. Having said that though, I'm expecting big things with OMI. Given time, it will do an AAZ which went from 4p to 80p.

MM's maybe think news is imminent ? Don't want to get caught out either way.

Cash in hand at $1.047m. Quite good. They have got their run rate right down. With the Newmont cash coming in, they won't need extra financing.

Cash? Around $0.8m? Just a guess.

H1 results should be out this week. Legacy results won't read well but that's all priced in imho. Might get an update on Anza with the results.

From the 15.10.18 Q1 results OMI stated "Orosur is planning the next stages of exploration of the high grade Anzá project in Colombia in coordination with Newmont".

This is 3 months after the initial $0.25m advance and 5 weeks after the Sept 10th fund raising.

I don't understand the pessimism that Newmont have walked without even a single drill hole!

Look at the weekly chart. Just before the NMT news the price dipped to an all time low. PI's are good at selling at the bottom.

Let's not forget the Uruguay operations. That was a dam good agreement a few weeks ago. I was expecting the liquidation of Loryser.

My take: they will restart operations once gold gets to $1500. That land package is vastly under explored. I recall years ago Orosur touting a gold discovery in Don Tito; they were estimating a potential find of between 50k to 500k oz's. They quickly dropped reference to that however when they started getting too many questions from shareholders.

Patience is key. When this rerates it will be sudden. Just buy and hold and forget about it. It's future is now assured with NMT on board.

I'm guessing NMT have done numerous partnership projects with junior explorers over the years. How soon after signing an agreement did NMT start drilling with others? 4/6/8 months?
