Seems this is why they have picked up on CRV - According to Zephyr, the M&A database published by Bureau van Dijk, there have been 64 announced transactions targeting investment banks so far in 2016
Craven House Capital, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol CRV, is an investor that provides growth capital to international companies developing Asian, African and Latin American economies.
As of 30th November 2015, the group had GBP 5.12 million in total assets.
Since its flotation, the firm has taken part in seven other capital increases, most recently issuing 205,423 stocks to Xenod Tour Oikod Epeix Afon Daktylidi for USD 2.50 million in August.
In other words large institutions are looking at acquisitions of businesses like CRV currently. Wouldn't that be a nice way out for us all.......
