I am guessing he will focus on his time at Bank of Ireland, some shareholder unrest when he joined BAT, the salary CRV must be paying, perhaps his age, how Mark must have hoodwinked him etc etc Or he may, just may, swallow his pride, swing to positive on CRV.............. I must need a lie down.

Mr Burrows salary from BAT is currently £853,000 per annum, I haven't looked into bonus or share incentives over and above this, or his income from Rentokil or Carslberg, but needless to say he's not here for a CRV Chairman salary alone I would wager. As I have said many times before, Marks CRV pitch must be pretty compelling...... I do have a feeling this one will get picked up by the media TC even on a small scale, lets see.

So on this point TC, there was another issue of shares equating to 6.8% of the current share capital on the 12th September that has not shown on the updated tear sheet. So either TR1s have not been completed or the investors took less than 3% each. Would be nice f that was our new Chairman, Company Secretary and their family and friends. 70% of CRVs shares are now held by "known/invited" holders. This will fly, one day...........

I had to go back and check I had ticked the correct RNS TC. His CV is phenomenal. Only CRV would fall on news like this, but this is a game changer for sure. A man of this stature, wealth and lets face it, age, would not get involved with CRV unless he saw serious upside/potential.

Currently we are supplying Chemicals and Lubricants into the Oil and Gas industry in Angola We are also advising clients on how to do business in Angola particularly in: 1. setting up a company and getting business 2. how to set up logistics 3. how to pay suppliers out of Angola in USD. (lack of USD in the market is affecting many companies ability to provide continued supply of goods imported from outside Angola)

Seems to me the RNSs are written to give our "mate" Winnifroth as much ammunition as possible, I am counting the minutes until he picks up on this one. CRV should save some money and not arrange confidentiality agreements as they did on the SA loans deal, they tell the market and PIs f#ck all anyway. :-) Still we are heading towards the results and an update from Mark that hopefully will not include the words "challenging" "unpleasant" and "frustration", amongst many more. Not a clue what the NAV is going to be......

Don't let the ba#tards get you down Rusty, as the MC grows we come increasingly insignificant in the grand scheme of things to MP. However it would be wise for Mark to remember that a good few of us could knock, what, 15/20% if not more off the MC in a day if we were to chuck the towel in........ MP and Co have made it clear that Winnifroth can write wtf he likes, they simply don't care. Given the nonsense he comes out with I don't let him get to me, though if anything he is more positive and covering his backside in more recent publishing's. He was even more negative when we were at 0.35p thank goodness we ignored him then. Some of what he says is valid, much of it utter drivel. Given he is currently printing out "see you in court *****ez" t shirts and asking for money to support his case, I think we have the measure of the man. What really interests me is why Winnibroth, bothers, it would be like me spending all day posting on a Gills fans forum, its not my team, I'm not invested in them and they are not in my league, it would just be down right odd....! None of that excuses the fact that a simple acknowledgment of your email is common courtesy and maybe Mark will be a little less comfortable the next time we meet, then again, quite possibly not. Bigger picture, he has attracted £3.34m, $1.88m and others at huge premiums and we are all well ahead. If we knew 10% of what the recent investors know I am sure we would all be a lot more comfortable.

" So his suggestion is that a major South African Bank took the $1.85m placing shares in return for CRV purchasing some of its non performing loan book in a "you scratch my back deal" ? I can see the regulators being quite happy with that... Or perhaps our Lebanese investor took a $1.35m stake in CRV so that we could buy some land in Argentina from them for 30% of their investment which itself was made at a 35% premium and they end up with even more CRV shares and no cash...? Seems perfectly plausible to me..... ;-)

I would agree with you there Charlie, though I am hoping its commercial property and so there would have been greater equity in the first place. I also assume that by saying the loans are secured "in a senior position" they mean CRV now have the first charge on the properties. Waiting for the updated tear sheet to see who the latest $1.85m investor is......

Publicity is the key to my mind TC, that's a very decent deal today akin to Green Isle, yet nothing appears other than RNS reprints. We are still not on SIs website or are they tweeting CRVs news. They handle MTR who only have to order new tea bags and its tweeted. Still its all starting to come together and this appears to be a deal where CRV have used cash to invest, dawn of a new era perhaps.
