Of course these could be the otger way round depending on the dste of your figures. And show Fil Int and Canacord as sellers whilst slater and private investors added. Aberdeen especially buying? Without a date for the data you shared we cant be sure.

60% of 250 a day gives around 7500 per annum on 5 days per week production. The top end of guidance for 2024/5 from Roan alone. Albeit over a 9 month period with 3 months at lower production. We could see 100000 t copper in 24/25 or is that optimistic?

Most. myself included are in a similar position to you Bluebelly. Maybe we can sell at a loss and the Government will give us reverse capital gains tax to offset our loss. You see we take all the risk and the Government only chips in to take money when we make a profit, having risked nothing. Fair- I don't think so.

As for stories v reality - I live in Rotherham and my vast family is full of real stories such as my cousin who didn't work for 30 years because he was a junky and so got extra money from the state. he married his dealer, which was nice, so she got access to benefits herself so she could pack in the dealing. The Tories made em go back out to work, did them the world of good. Now they've reached pension age, they want more. I saw his wife at my Father's funeral this Summer, she was hobbling around on sticks, looking very sick. i asked my mum what had happened. Oh she said, she's applied for sickness benefits 4 times and been turned down, so she's borrowed some sticks to make herself look more genuine. It's worked. Got pension plus credit plus attendants allowance etc and of course winter fuel allowance. Then there's my female cousin, she's a 5 by 4. Five kids by 4 blokes, one came back for a second go. Holidays, abroad, a nice car, a house. Never worked but entitled to full state pension as she spaced the kids out and maximised NI credits and then there's my asian neighbours. 3 of them living there officially, the lady is ill and on benefits. Actually 4 families there and the sum total value of cars on the drive is over £2million. Then there's ...... I'll stop there it will take a week or two - socialism breeds laziness amongst us all in the end. Why work when you can scrounge. Why work when you are taxed to the hilt. We all end up equal, equally poor, apart from the leaders who load up. taxes are all about fairness and sharing the cost of things we all use so the poorest can share them too. we pay taxes into a central pot so they can be used for the common good. people will be happy to do this if the system is seen to be fair.

i was brought up on a council estate and my mum had 3 children by when she was 20 - we were poor but happy. we benefited from free education, free medical help and free school meals when my dad was unemployed on a couple of occasions. i am grateful to those better off who paid taxes to help me get through my childhood and reach for something better. i joined the labour party when i was 18 years old.

my next door neighbours were in the same position - their eldest son left school at 16 with no qualifications. he tried 5 jobs in two weeks on leaving school and didn't like any of them as he had to work. he is 65 now and hasn't worked a single day since he was 16. he has been on every benefit possible and had 5 children who mostly haven't worked and now the grandchildren are at it. he had the same help as me and has continued scrounging for his whole life.

i got a job on the market selling veg at 12. studied hard, got o and a levels. had an apprenticeship at the local pit, qualified as a chartered minerals surveyor. left the pits at 33 due to mine closures and did a two year maths degree and became a teacher. i didn't go to pubs, never had a new car, didn't go abroad for holidays but instead saved and invested for retirement. i retired at 53 on my own money, not a penny from the state. unlike my ex neighbour i have paid tax all my life and continue to do so from my private hard won income. when i receive my state pension in 3 years time i will pay 40% tax on some part of it due to my frugality.

my question is, where is the fairness - i have been paying all of my life to keep my ex next door neighbour in lethargy, ***s and beer. he will receive his winter fuel allowance as he is on all the right benefits, i, who have paid in all my life won't get it. he clogs up the medical appointments every week to make sure he can keep claiming. i have been to the doctors about 10 times in my life. if i get anything wrong with me i'll have to get in the queue behind him.

the current labour government saves 1.4 billion from cutting winter fuel and ploughs 22 billion into a hair brained carbon capture scheme that will cost a 100 billion by the time they've done. they are scrapping non dom status as a punitive measure even though it will cost the nation in tax income. they will "go after" the rich as if they are evil and get nothing because the rich are cleverer than them (let's face it everyone is cleverer than them). every penny they poor into improving services will be wasted. they will tax us all more and crush growth whilst giving higher than inflation wage rise to the least productive employed members of society.

not only are the changes they are putting in place unfair, they will not work. cut taxes, small state!!

Marineclark correcting your profit margin from 50% to 20% gives a valuation of 16p just for copper.

My valuation at a copper price of $9800 and 25,000 tonnes is 17p for copper alone with chrome and pgms paying the overheads.

Nothing in my valuation for IRH deal until it's signed off (enacted if you prefer).

Increase in copper to $1300 and IRH deal plus extra chrome and or pgm price increase and your 40p is not out of the question but needs a couple of fair winds to blow JLP's way.

Cash flow problems - behind us.

Paying for resources through dilution - at least paused if not over.

The seller - beyond company's control.

Warrants and options - November 8 million - a bit of a gap after that I believe to end of 2025.

Once the seller is gone, the reasons not to invest look pretty lightweight.

The upside - well copper alone should be worth 17p to 25p depending on copper selling price by mid 2026 IMO.

This is accumulation time - buy a few every week as the price fluctuates, if you have the cash available.

Once the seller has gone, then it will be too late in a very short time frame.

They plan to issue shares as above but now it will be somewhere between 30 and 40 million shares I would think? We lost 10% of the company through dilution last year. It needs to come to an end.

At first glance Northern cash position better than I predicted. Looks like my bad and I'll hold my hand up to it. Going to check through again to see if theres any slight of hand with reporting and extra borrowing. Never trust accountants.

Hi Frogkid. This years chrome beat expectations. The two new modules should be running for half the year. Giving us a 20% uplift. I added this to what was expected from existing to give us somewhere north of 10% increase. If I remember rightly Leon gave guidance in line with this years production for next year. Might be a false memory, woukd need to check it out. Hoping for 10%+.

Hi pedigree scum - the copper production was overhyped by investors in the first half of this year and reality has entered the conversation of late. We were all saying come on Roan as if it was the only barrier to 25,000 tonnes. Sable is expected to be complete after the end of the next financial year so won't be fully operational and in the meantime we need to secure more feed. So 7,000 tonnes guidance takes all of that into account.

The big plus sides for next years financial results are:

Doubling copper production;

Copper costs should benefit from economies of scale;

Lower investment expenditure in copper;

Increased chrome production, maybe 10% or so;

Lower capital investment in chrome as the modules are completed in the first half.

The results are in line with what we have come to expect of late but are very disappointing compared to where most investors thought we would be by now.

One trade was sell for CGT reasons, the other 6 were buys Marineclark. The sells at 4.88p are down as sells but they are most likely buys. Could be a turbulent couple of months ahead but it will set off at a pace at some point. A bit like JSE (which I sold a week or two back), the rise will happen but the timing is uncertain. Buy and hold and add more if it falls further is probably best. Some here have averages at 8p and I hope they can average down over the coming weeks.

Good luck bluebelly. Tempted but short term headwinds. Project G was for 2.1 million being paid for by shares. I wonder if the deal still stands now the share value is mych lower? Its going to fly at some point, might be soon. Who knows.

I dont think they have any cash. So thete are no options at this time except wait for cash to accrue or dilute the share price down. We'll soon see.

But not a disconnect with the share price and the revealed short term strategy. JLP have shown their hand. They are going to issue shares to secure feed. Much more shares nowthe sp is smaller. These will likely be sold depressing the share price. The race to the bottom for the sp is entirely logical until JLP change strategy and use cash to expand copper. Not shares. Maybe we should be looking at how many shares were issued in the last deal and estimating how many of them might be left? Before the next issue and November warrants. Issuing shares is now materially impacting on the companies desired expansion strategy. Tjate is not even a pipe dream even if your pipe is full of marijuana.

Agree Marineclark - I think it's stabilised but my long long history of JLP shows that the sp almost always drops to the issue price of new shares. It's a small risk but it's there all the same. I think it's just short of 8 million shares.
