I don't know the seller will be done by year end Frogkid - hoping. Trying to put myself in a fund manager's position, I would like the loss making asset off my books this financial year, realising the loss to offset against tax on profits and clearing the way for next year where the asset that has lost you 60% or 70% disappears from the published material. Just a pet theory.

JLP could announce 10,000t copper and copper could hit 12,000 dollars and Leon could shout it from the roof. The sp is going nowhere until the institution (s) have finished selling.

My current lazy valuation based on copper is 4.15p IF we get 6500 t of copper.

Buying now is at a 20% discount to my backstop calculation. This is not the time to moan - this is the land of opportunity - keep acquiring when you can. Greedy - others are definitely fearful- you can hear it in the posts.

My back of f.a.g packet calculation gives 4p value IF we get out 6500 t at current copper prices. That's a bottom line fall back valuation with no enterprise value.

Been in Jlp for decades. It's an oportunistic company initiated by Colin Bird as one of his shot in the dark ventures that might make it big. Leon was added when JLP took over Braemore and the conroast technology. It's grown in fits and starts with good and bad decisions over the years. Buy it when it's low (sub 5p) and wait for all the chancing to match up with the real world for a fleeting moment (see Tjate) (see post covid spike). .... and sell.

Could JLP be the environmentally sound cleaner upper of choice for waste dumps - yes. Is it likely -no. We are already moving away from that with copper. Knock some copper out, wait for a spike in pgm's, copper, chrome or all 3 and cash in.

Anyone buying over the next 2 to 3 weeks is in the right casino IMO - that's what AIM is a casino - if you want accountability, fairness, etc - invest elsewhere - just my opinion. GLA.

He may have a piece that is 6% but to interpolate that we have any substantial quantity at 6% let alone an average of 6% is pure speculation (aka ramping) - save your uber positive ramp and get nasty routine for when it is possible for the share price to rise gotreal - don't waste your vitriol. Yes Happy. Sable completion by end of July was promissed back in September. Not been mentioned since then ( I will stand being corrected on that). Negatives will be first half finances and possibly could be Sable delays. Positives possinle are numerous. Be good to see where real events take us once the seller is done.

JLP is cheap below 5p, always said so. More patience may be needed yet though. More opportunity if you're Warren Buffet.

The share should re-rate as soon as the seller is done. 3.3p tom3.35p lifted to 2.34p to 3.55p. Maybe the market makers know there's not much left to sell and have started to push up the price and margin accordingly - or maybe not - who knows.

Copper, pgm and chrome price and quantities will all be relevant then but not until.

Good points Northern. EVs were never going to be the answer. In the mix but not the answer.

At 6500 t copper 1% rise adds 0.1p to share price IMO approx. At 13 000 t copper, then 1% gives 0.2p share price rise.

IF above ground supply falls to 6 weeks and demand outstrips supply the surely platinum will spike or some manufacturers will switch to palladium which will then spike. It all takes time but its a possibility. Not so long since 2p to 22p in a similar scensrio just based on pgms.

Metals are in demand.

Upshot. Platinun Council. ( beware bias) says that there is a year on year 7% defecit between production and demand for platinum. This is forcast (beware forcasts) to reduce above ground stocks from 23 weeks to 6 weeks over the next 3 to 4 years.

At some point, the ever growing stock of pgm rich material stocked by JLP could well be on its way to Northam.

Chrome has sustained JLP income whilst the copper strategy has, shall we say, evolved, could pgms come to the fore at the same time that the copper strategy starts to deliver? All of this will only impact the share price once the seller(s) has gone. We may well regret it, if we dont build our positions in JLP in these depressed times. Be greedy when others are fearful (Templeton).?

I'd take the 5750 Bluebelly at this moment in time. Hoping for 6,500, with an indication that the 2025/26 could achieve in excess of 10,000 based on actual production figures from one month.
