Actual production and not projections are all we can trust JLP with. The history of copper predictions show that they have been worthless.

Meanwhile I feel excited about the coming days and weeks, maybe we are on the cusp of multiple game changing events for the share price - seller finished, actual copper produced at increased recovery, higher percentage and increased throughput, record breaking chrome production, margins improving on all metals produced(?) - maybe.

Charting has been irrelevant whilst the sellers have been around other than to confirm the inexorable decline.

If the seller is done or nearly done then the charts come into play and the 1 year charts and indicators are looking much better given the recent rise in the JLP share price. 3 or 4 indicators are quite positive now (first time in a long time). Particularly interested to see the 20 day moving average has bottomed and is pointing upwards. The 50 day appears to have bottomed at 3.75p. The full ask is sitting at that level, a break higher would be very positive. The 200 day moving average, long term trend, is still down however.

I firmly believe that without the seller we would be mid 4p's or higher without any news whatsoever. Good news on top of the seller finishing could see a 50% re-rate within days, IMO (for what it's worth).

Welcome Basm - JLP produced just over a thousand tonnes of copper in the first 6 months of this financial year. two years ago most posters on here would have expected production to be 10 times that amount. Yes JLP are producing copper and yes there are plans to expand that production and yes we need to actually see it to believe it.

Over the past 3 weeks JLP is up over 16%.

Good find seis. They seem to be looking at ways to limit sales and permanently force up prices. Will the price be high enough for JLP? I have little knowledge in this regard.

I dont believe Hargreaves have JLP in any of their pension funds Frogkid. The shares are held, I believe, by individuals with Hargreaves as the broker. Just people likeyou and me.

Sold my chinese shares (20% profit) and plonked it on the JLP nag. A tad under a million shares now. 1p move makes £10,000 profit or loss. A fall to 2p ( where ee were without copper and the world in lockdown) costs me £15,000. A rise to 7p will net me £35000

Pgm 36000 no change.

Chrome 22,000 increased.

Copper 5200 decreased.

Lazy valuation at current prices 3.5p to 3.7p. With no enterprise value added for future increases.

By my reckoning the fool is down about 65% on thatJLP tip.

Alternatively the seller finishes up very soon and indicative copper production gives us in excess of 10,000t as you say. Pondering what to do re my share holding. Tempted and concerned at the same time.

Gotreal - you are one of the trio of serial rampers. When others post realistic views and information it appears to you that we are putting the share down. It is your view point that is at odds with the real situation.

I own just over 800,000 shares, every 0.1p rise adds £800 to my on paper wealth. I would love today to have been the start of a surge. I even sidled some cash ready to buy more today or tomorrow outside the ISA wrapper, just in case. but then on cue, the sp pulls back precisely because the market makers where letting it build a bit of steam to offload some more shares but at a higher price. The share is going nowhere until the seller is done or such wonderful news comes out that buyers eat up everything on offer and more.

The sp dropped back today because of the seller, not because of anything anyone posted on this tiddling bb. Time to getreal gotreal.

The seller still seems to be around IMO looking at the trades.

It looks to me that retail buyers have come in with expected results and in anticipation of the seller getting to the end of their stock.

Evidence: volume up markedly; a trio of new serial rampers have joined our in house trio of rampers; people who haven't posted for a while are now commenting (buying back in?); the charts are showing fledgling signs of a turn around in the share price which encourages some on the side lines to join the party (/wake).

Where will the sp go short term? The increased buying volume could be a one or two day wonder and the sp slip back or the momentum may take hold and move us slowly up. My lazy valuation at current copper prices and 6,500 t of copper guidance (optimistic) is 4.3p. Wouldn't want to be paying more than that with what we know at the moment. 3.6p is very cheap.

It seems to me looking at the buys and sells over recent months and comparing to recent days that the pattern is changing. more chunky buys and fewer big sells. Just a feeling.

a bit concerned because I'm banking on the seller depressing prices for another couple of weeks so I can pick up my last 200,000 shares inside the new ISA wrapper.

Other thoughts - 25,000t copper - much mooted - surely it depends on feed quality e.g. if we were to get 25,000t from a 1% feedstock at full tilt, are we able to produce 25,000t at half the throughput with a 2% feedstock.

Do they know that the plants, won't achieve the design capacity and under pressure from bigger investors than us they had to source higher grade feedstock to compensate or are we now looking at 50,000t copper with better feedstock. Just thought I'sd chuck in a conspiracy theory whilst the death of a President the other side of the Atlantic is having more information released to occupy the thoughts of the masses.
