It does not say that it says he will get rid of as soon as he can and I dont think anybody would object to getting rid of them as soon as we can SAFELY .

Covidopp unless the govt have a suitable alternative and to date the LFTs they have used have been appalling , we all know the score , them most definitely PCR testing has enabled surge testing and most definitely stopped the spread of variants. The fact remains that regardless of what Savid Javid says or indeed does that pcr will remain in high use throughout the pandemic as it is the only way to track variants. We may introduce another step but any positive LFT will then have to be confirmed by PCR and a percentage of them then sequenced. Anything else is too high risk. As I have always maintained if I see an LFT that is comparable to a pcr test in accuracy I would be very interested, I still haven't.

Covidopp , I fully understand the impact the impact on travel but that is minuscule compared to the risk that lockdown will have on the economy if variants are not tracked. I think the UK has been VERY slow to approve home grown LFT'S and flooding the Uk with a decent test early doors would have helped significantly. Still would , decent LFT testing twice weekly would help keep this virus under control. Border control is entirely different and imo PCR testing required .

Listened to it and read it. I think we would all like to ditch PCR tests "as soon as we can" and resume normal life, it also plays straight into the listening public who think no further then extra spend on holidays.
The vast majority do not comprehend the importance of genomic surveillance and that the UK are world leaders in this field.
The UK govt are well aware any new variant which has vaccine breakthrough would lead to immediate lockdown and a huge further loss of life if it was to take hold . Furthermore it would bring an already crippled economy to its knees. Sajid Javid might like to do many things but stopping Genomic surveillance is not one that Whitty , Sage , proff Van Tam etc will allow to happen imo. Border control imperative. Called playing to a crowd to deflect from huge tax rises and to try and appease the aviation industry.

Hi Larry yes Promate at Katalyst but they also offer professional use Lfts next day at £45.00 I think, with next day Pcr being 60. Would be fantastic if the LFT being used was ours too.

I am actually fine with not having multiple rns's while they conduct day to day business and strive to keep things privy from competitors , published contracts don't fall under that remit ,nor do any of the contracts we have won that have not been rns'd. The gameplan could well be to protect the company so it can grow into a midcap ( speculation) but I can see merit in that. Just me having a whine which is rare but it irratated me today. Movie and vino time.

Disagree Kitty , it is not down to Mandy to decide what to RNS , she organises the release of RNSs decided upon by senior mgt.

I have been a supporter of G.M. Today I was VERY disappointed to not see the bidstats contract RNS'd. I am aware we had been "told about it" The market had not and the Bidstat contract was official confirmation. We have as shareholders repeatedly asked for major contracts to be rns'd. I hope David Allmond listens and acts accordingly. Aim reacts to news and constantly witholding it is not acceptable. I'm not asking for a pump , for example we have applied for approval for a, b , c etc but come on announce contracts .
