Chris agree again , but one further thing I can't fathom. So 20 million set aside for replacement goods. The 40 million ordered this year outside of contract and not paid for is not a gift from Novacyt to the DHSC. This has to come off the figure in dispute , which is therefore dramatically reduced . So why has the 20mm figure for replacement goods not dropped to reflect this and why have they booked the 6mm for producing this , to me that is a duplication. You no longer need to earmark 20 million for relpacement goods as this is now is considerably less ??

Chris , this is when I start to struggle with what seems logical. The company knew from October / November that the DHSC had an issue with Exsig ( imo their issue , they had seen it in action and ordered it ) . Lets move to Promate ... they developed it so fast , they were telling us about it in November , so I think they were developing it as a separate new product even before DHSC issues started.
It doesnt seem logical to me that G.M would produce more exsig from Nov onwards knowing the DHSC wouldnt take it. Unless tied into manufacturing agreements ???? The DHSC must have taken receipt of the first tranche of exsig or they would not have paid us ( shortfall 23 MM) So If we are correct that the product in question is exsig and winterplex then G.M took the decision to produce prior to signature of ten week trigger , early October ? Now oral contracts can be taken in consideration and it is pure speculation who said what to whom and when. I therefore have no idea about being able to recoup the costs of the products. I do question why if Exsig they cant sell to Unicef at cost even ?. I may be totally wrong about this but normally if you follow logic you reach a reasonable conclusion.

Bethels bone imo was disgraceful , caused ODX to spike to drop back down again , sucking in new holders , they've been on a promise for longer then I care to remember. He is more then aware of the impact his comments have on the markets.
If we remain utilising Innova tests we will bypass plan A and find ourselves rapidly immersed in plan B. Remember with all the issues that the NHS currently has they are only 'whelmed ' the overwhelmed comes later.

Hi Dunchallas , they indeed are the facts , therefore why is anyone speculating he has received 10mm and is jetting off into the blah.
Re severance pay he should receive nothing bar his holiday entitlement end of.
I do not view Ncyts refusal to divulge his package to you / us as a cover up.
Now whether we believe other board members should receive the Nov 21 and Nov 22 tranches is a whole different topic and one I am still musing over , however unless some new startling facts come to light I shall be basing that decision on two things. One do I think they deserve it and two what impact do I think their removal will have on impeding any deals being struck / progress with the DHSC dispute.

Ok CT so for a cost of 6.9mm we have reduced our risk with DHSC dispute by a third.

I raised the 29mm whether cost or retail a few weeks back but think post removed. Knew couldn't be machines as figures didn't add up. So could'nt work out what it was . Dont think promate as just cost us 6.9 mm to manufacture it to fufill 40million order. They couldn't double count 6.9mm and 29 million.
Im confused about something , CT I agree with you re why CAB is 77mm . My confusion lies in the 40mm goods despatched to the DHSC and not paid for. Would this 40 million not paid now not reduce the total amount in dispute ?

Byp , I didnt jump up and down when I heard David Allmond was replacing GM , I'm still on the fence with that but the more I see of aim the more I become convinced a lot of it is sentiment driven. If he is a marketing guy then perhaps it is the right choice. We have all been frustrated with lack of info so it can only improve imo.
Strange this released today,
I wonder if it was one of the conditions that David Allmond said was a prerequisite of him joining.
He may want a board clear out and this news certainly doesn't incentivise pi's to vote for them.
Hoping this brings more clarity , although why we were not told this months ago is beyond me.

I just thought we were at one stage involved with producing assays / collaborating with them. Had seen nothing since the 2019 RNS and then saw the doc dated Dec 2020 which could be referencing the 2019 renewal , I don't know.
