Just as a bit of interest I wanted to buy in here, didnt get a live quote for 1 share.
Placed a limit order and it took almost 2 hrs to fill.

The subscribers to these shares did so weeks ago, they have demonstrated a patience and willingness to research and invest for the medium term at least, they are not day traders. So of the 35 odd million shares being added its fair to assume they are not in the hands of the usual day traders we are used too. If they were day traders after a quick buck they would have forward sold as soon as they got the placing and moved on, zero risk but sizeable profits. Those that held then are likely to keep on holding tomorrow.

There was lots of talk of forward selling of the shares in which case the damage was already done and lots of shares already in the market.
Alternatively they have not been forward sold and the SP is at placing price and the investors or a good chunk of them are unlikely to sell again because why sell for a loss when they could hold for a short period and potentially make a sizeable profit?

If the SP was massively above placing I would be worried the placing would affect the SP tomorrow, as it stands I cant see it having much impact atall, perhaps the reverse, investors who were waiting for the placing to add liquidy and hoping for a drop to buy in choosing to buy tomorrow.

That said, any decent news today, which may or may not happen and its going to be some very happy investors tomorrow. Hemo are very good at keeping their lips sealed so just cannot predict either way!

I managed to get 3k at 7p on the button so happy with that. always a shake down every morning.
IF there is news then this is going to be impossible to buy by this afternoon
IF there is no news then you will see some sell off and price may drop to the mid 6p range again.
Upside is MASSIVE downside is I have to wait a few months until pretty much guaranteed good news. So its good news now or later, I really dont see bad news coming, no brainer for me

Well technically were it not for the placing there wouldnt be as many shares coming into the market and teh price would be higher and to buy that quantity of shares from the float would be extremely difficult and price would be significantly higher as not many people selling 2.5m worth of shares...
So I guess it comes down to, are they happy to be buying into hemo with a significant investment without paying over the odds to get that significant holding? Smaller investors wanting only a few 100k shares could have bought for less certainly and they will be peeved but by and large investors should be pretty "Meh" about this current SP.

You are missing 2 key points regarding the AGM:
1, We had the opportunity to submit questions which they will answer if they are permitted to do so, if you know what questions were asked, a non answer could still be telling.
2, The placing shares get voted on tomorrow. Once the funding is in place it may unlock other news in the coming days

Orgenysis announced a share buyback so they clearly have surplus funds, also they may want to reduce the shares in free issue in case they do decide to offer a ************** in some potential take over...

Yes Bob absolutely I would love to retire early and live off the dividends :-)

I have a fear however that ISAs will one day be targeted for a weath tax, possibly to pay off the borrowing for Covid recovery in a few years. Not sure how, but perhaps they will add a lifetime cap like with pensions...

Just a side note = actually going back and looking at why I invested in hemo has been good, doing the maths again has really solidified my thought process. If I hold until Hemo are bought over it is very likely I will make £1mil + in profit on this share, and when I do the maths for myself I under estimate where possible. That £1mil will be in an Stocks and Shares ISA where I am paying ZERO interest when I sell and cash out. By comparison I earn like £70k a year and pay tax making it alot less, so whilst yesterday I was worried about a drop of a penny here or there right now I really dont give a toss that sp is down below placing again :-) In a year or so I expect to have, sitting in my account, tax free enough to take the next 10-15 years off work if I chose to do so!

I am not sure we will get any upfront payment, lots of speculation but really dont think it will be necessary, look at what they had in yesterdays RNS, basically Hemo providing some of the staff but it looks like certainly with the CDX development GlobalCo are carrying all the costs. We raised 2.5m to cover costs associated with HEMO-CAR-T and Covid 19, breeding and selling mice is not going to require extra funding either. I get the feeling we are either self funding to completion or costs bore by the other parties and at the end they get favourable licencing terms in return.

With the number of shares he has I dont think thats really an issue tbh, I think he is doing it because its the right thing to do, scientists get more gratification from recognition that they cured a disease than the money associated with it. When it comes to value once blood is in the water that hemo is on the market it will be a bidding war.

1 in 3 of us on this board WILL get cancer and I hope to god that if its me its long enough down the line that cures like this are completed. But yes, the bone marrow transplant market is billions world wide, if you ever see the names Mayo Clinic and Hemogenyx in the same presentation you can be assured you are set. The cost of treatment is truly mind boggling, and health insurance will cover it, so will the NHS over here, totally mental figures, but lets not get ahead of ourselves, we are talking months down the line.
Also the first few phases of the trials will not be revenue generating we will be curing people for free.... Which is a good thing but still worth remembering there is no profit until AFTER the trials are finished.

Unfortunatly we will never know. :-(
As soon as we bring one or two of these big hitters to the point of near market realisation hemo will be prime for takeover, it will be swallowed up along with all of our shares and we will never know what the end true value of Hemo was. Needless to say, if EVERYTHING below was realised and ready to sell, signed off by FDA, NICE etc, ready to take orders for the mice, provien phase 1,2,3,4 trials with the leukemia patients. Like EVERYTHING was finished IF that were the case we would be a multi billion pound company. Each share would be what £10-£20?

THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN, when that looks like its on the horizon we will be bought out. I Would love to be sitting on £10-20Million worth of shares right now but realistically in a year or so when we hit maybe £1 per share or maybe even less they will be ripped from our hands and replaced with cash and the ride will be over. You may well get shares in the company that buys us out as compensation in addition to cash but the hemo journey will be over :-(

;-) Like I said, i went for the option where there are current facts and figures on which to draw a realistic valuation for just one arm of the operations based on todays market. If they pull it off the market potentially grows 5 times in the uk alone as if its cost effective it could be the fastest most effective way to cure patients of leukemia which could actually save the NHS if you take a holistic look at the cost of treatment without using bone marrow.

That said.... The mice I dont really want to speculate, again however any rough valuation blows away the market cap,and we know they have already been using the mice...
You can buy existing mice from other companies for like $1k and I doubt they are as good as ours. from google a litter is average 7 pups, 10 litters per female a year and takes 12 weeks to mature.... If they have the orders they could breed 100's of thousands of mice a year, I dont imagine much difficulty getting customers considering they are useful in many fields not just leukemia, also Covid-19 for testing antibodies, vaccines, CDX......

Really depends on the orders coming in but I imagine some of the big pharma will be buying these mice by the thousands, if the profit per mouse is somewhere in the £500 mark then selling 50k of these will mean in mice alone they cover their market cap.... Just in mice... Something they never actually intended to sell, it was only for internal development until they realised how good they were.

I did some really rough back of the napkin maths a while ago to see if hemo was undervalued when it was like 2p, some of its guesstimation some of its based on a very quick google.
I picked the Hu-PHEC pipeline because it looked close to stage 1 clinical trials, and now looks like will be starting in the next few months.
Considering Hemogenx approach and lets just pick ONE disease leukaemia (This has wider applications)
Lets narrow it down to JUST the UK where over 2,000 people in the UK are in need of a bone marrow or stem cell transplant every year.
That number would be much higher if bone marrow transplant was a first line treatment, because of complications its not the first line.
Now look at the cost which is about £200k per patient. So there is maybe £400mil being spent on bone marrow transplants in the UK in a year? Now in terms of royalties, lets assume something like Hemos Hu-PHEC became the norm in this scenario your talking what? No idea what the % would be, lets call it 10% for easy maths, £40m per year for licencing their treatment thats about to go into Phase 1? When the market cap today is only £28M

Now consider: I picked UK because its much much smaller than the US so the numbers of treatments here is tiny in comparison.
I picked 2k people require the treatment AT PRESENT, in reality because the patients own cells are used the risk from rejection or complications which limit this as a treatment option disappear, so this moves from almost a last option to a first line option.
With what 10k+ people diagnosed a year with leukaemia the market gets alot bigger.

That said, I am not a scientist or a doctor, just a keyboard warrior with some money to invest. My first aim is to protect my investment which means investing where the risk is low. Based on just ONE single strand of work that Hemo are working on the potential market in JUST the uk is more than the current paper value of Hemo PER YEAR.
Include the USA or CDX or bring in Lupus treatments or perhaps some Covid work............

Why do you assume that we have to "Churn through it"?
You do realise that people, like human beings have purchased these shares on contract and when friday comes the shares will be listed with these people as the owners of the shares?
In theory ALL of them could hold and not sell a single share. Likewise they could all decide to sell.

But seriously do you think investors with alot more knowledge and insight having been brought onboard privatly and who over subscribed to buy this share at 7p are going to sell at a loss? You think there will be a big mad panic rush for them to all sell and lose money???

Forward selling is akin to shorting the company and would have damaged the SP when it happened so any damage has already been done, any non shorted shares are the investors to keep, they can sell if they want, but if they have a choice between selling at a loss or holding? Sooner this placing is done and dusted and behind us the better. I expect there will be more volume and bigger free float after this is all said and done but also hope there is more clarity and news about why the investors were clearly keen to over subscribe.

What nonsense are you talking about a new placement? They have not passed the last placement yet!
And Considering how a large Global Co pharmaceutical company is letting Hemogenyx use their facilities, their equipment, their Intellectual Property to work on the joint venture and at the end will likely sign a massive contract setting Hemo up for the foreseeable future. No I cannot imagine a new placement at this time.

Regarding yesterdays RNS, you are correct, there IS an RNS required re the information leaked by our partners about our activities with Orgenysis this was not it.

Your right the market has changed, there just is not that much hard cash floating around at present. And not alot of new cash coming in, people are back to work, people have taken positions in shares and are down so will hold to the bitter end so stopped trading. The Covid bubble has or will burst. Hence I tried to avoid Covid stocks. Like why do an antibody test if your going to get a vaccine? Why get a vaccine if there is a cure if you DO get sick? Why take the cure if your not that sick? Why test if someone has Covid if the side effects are mild in 90% of the population? Why track and trace if you are not going to lockdown or treat every one who may have come into contact and it is unaffordable?
Unless there is a second wave and the death rate starts to increase massively I personally cannot see many of the products in development ever being financially viable to take to market.

Anyway, thankfully as we have been shouting out since this all began, HEMO IS NOT A COVID STOCK. When the Covid Chasers run out of steam and realise they are not going to 10 bag over night on a covid stock they will be back here. Cancer is a killer, it affects 1 in 3 people in their lives and Hemogenyx are close to Phase 1 clinical trials.
With regard to Covid-19 people will also open their eyes to the risk of a bio terrorist or different outbreak in future, there are probably people working on modifying Covid-19 or some other pathogen with their home Crispr right now just because they can. Covid-19 is not the last pandemic we are going to see. When governments realise the true cost of lockdown and how it can be almost impossible to stop the spread of a disease that can be transmitted asymptomaticly they will start looking for weapons to fight future Disease X that dont involve locking down the entire country.
Governments will need ways to quickly test and treat the disease, they will need ways to develop treatments quickly and Hemogenyx is right there.

Your 2 days from AGM where placing shares which were priced, at a discount of 7p gets voted on. Those shares were backed by investors who did DD and pleny of their own research before staking 2.5M of their own cash against it.
I wouldnt worry.
Looks like today there were some day traders chasing a unicorn, saw the words 3 months in an RNS, said "Na mate I am off" and left. Didnt actually read the RNS to see it was a positive RNS and also missed the point entirely that it was not the RNS we are waiting on.....

The RNS exposed the extent to which our SP is volatile and easily manipulated by the day traders, and when I say manipulated I dont mean illegally, I just mean that, a few day traders buying up the free float is enough to force the SP up, and them selling is enough to drop it down again. Cant be that much stock in the free float for it to have that much of an immediate impact.
