Lets be positive today could be innocent mistake, London, its Main Market not Aim, but lets be honest folks he is right, the MMs are the big winners, but its the investors who enable it. I am in another share where today price is up again 10% after a bigger rise yesterday. Board is dead, no chat, twitter is quiet, the holders including myself just not selling, simple as that, SP has gone up, down, sideways, wee shake here and there and nada, no trades, so the SP is now +10%
While PIs keep panic selling or going for there wee 5-10%'s and thinking they are the dogs ba...s the MMs will keep doing it, I have learned to accept it. I am probably going to stop watching now and do some work, happy with this as a start, but in the grand scheme this is one of the smaller RNS I am waiting on ;-)

I read that too, no idea if its true or false. All I know is this:
1, MMs DO manupulate the market for their own gain and to fill big orders (Buy or sell).
2, YOU can benefit from these games, because they must sell to everyone equally when they are playing games with SP a limit order can still be filled so even though they want their shares for a big order you can still steal them.
3, In the long run they eventually bring the price right up to where THEIR big customers want the SP to be. Investors loading up use the MMs to fill large orders but eventually they will say, right thats it, bring the SP up. Secret is to buy before everyone else does and just go along with them for the ride.

StarKnight, when the price is going up and does not look like its going to fall people just hold on to their shares and dont sell.
When it spikes a little and then the MMs make it look like the SP has peaked and price is dropped holders think "OMG!! the price is dropping, it has peaked, I dont want to be the last one holding the baby!!!!" and they sell in a panic for whatever price they can.
MMs dont mind if it goes up in the long term, but much more profitable to keep small spikes, when it falls down again its still in the comfortable buy zone so people buy more.
Its all about the churn or volume for MMs. they take a % on the SP IE the spread, high SP, low SP its kind of irrelevant to them, they just want lots and lots of churn.

Always sceptical that its a PI playing around I did a fake buy for 460 and 2 shares, both were under the ask so it was an MM making the trade.
In the grand scheme of things does not mean alot probably see another after hours partially filled order on the books in an hr or so.

If you dont, please explain the 5.4 trades when I was unable to get the same price from the MMS? It was always cheaper for me.

GlenB, not going to disagree with you there it certainly is worrying, the stock market right now is in total dissarray. Profits are being made where there is clearly no justification and shares like hemo are getting left in the gutters. 200k shares is more significant to me than say a trade of 213,916 shares, its more about is the person trading in block size or with their recent bonus payment from work if you get what I mean. That said, there has been a worrying trend of MMs dropping SP getting lots of low value random sales, then after hours there will be a big buy of 4-500k shares, we have had millon share trades show up like this also. It just feels like the drop is more to enable the investors to buy more shares rather than it dropping because investors want to sell if that makes sense?

Thanks, never considered MM to MM trades, it was the cost of transactions that was making my head spin, but if its free i guess they can do what they want.

If you need reassurance from the top you should do more research before investing.
Seriously though a good rule of thumb is to follow the money (USUALLY)
When you see lots and lots of small traders selling and one or two big trades buying all those shares up, OR the reverse you see one or two big trades selling and lots of small traders buying them up.
Do you trust the small traders or the investors with big wads of cash to throw away?
Not hard to go back over last few days and look for the big trades, you might find that trade has been very one sided recently, you just have to decide who do you trust more.

the sheer quantity of sales where the transaction price was £2 or less... I dont know many PIs who pay less than £8 per transaction. That is not trying to get cheap shares. It reeks of manipulation but I dont know to what end, up or down, looking to ramp up or ramp down . The only thing I can think is whoever it was wanted the last 10-20 trades to look blue or red before they either bought or sold to try and induce panic selling or FOMO buying, either way, is it legal?

I am not investing here, I dont want to buy in, I dont hold shares I dont want to sell. I have zero free cash to invest or short or anything. I have not read the RNS, I know the name and little more. This is not a ramp or a de-ramp, I have ZERO financial benifit from a rise or fall in share price.
That said, can someone please explain to me why over the past 2 days there are so many trades for a small handful of trades where the value of the transaction is LESS than the dealer fees?

So your probably spot on that if they want to sell 100k mice they just buy 100k mice from a dedicated mouse breeding company, treat them and sell on the modified. I had not actually clicked on to that to be honest and its more significant than I originally thought, basically if they are not constrained by breeding cycles they have no limits on capacity beyond the processed human blood cells and staff to do the transfusions, which arguably could be any trained student with a steady hand.....
I still thing the model will be a % revenue from any generated patient HOWEVER thanks for clearing it up, and if they did decide to sell to come companies for a fixed price per mouse they can print their own money.

Bogyo, the 12% was the 12% that we know about revenue deal from Orgenesis, our mice enable the BioDefence Platform and we get 12% of the revenues generated.
Not sure what you mean RE 12% cost of the mice?
My question was just this, many other companies sell actual mice for a fixed price, lets say £800 for one specialised humanised mouse. But like you say, our mice are a research platform that enable rapid development.
I dont think Hemogenyx are going to actually sell mice, I think they will take the approach of letting pharmas use our mice, probably free of charge in testing, but in exchange we get a royalty from any subsequent patients.
Basically, previous figures about revenue from actual individual sale of mice gets blown out of the water, all we need is ONE single partner using our mice with a 12% royalty to land ONE big contract and we could earn our MCap in a single transaction. That is only a 200m deal for a global pharma company......

Its a formality, any objections will be duly noted and filed in the B1n filing cabinet. Probably 5pm the same day there will be news that it can proceed with local support.

@Quickdraw - RE the mice, think your maths is spot on if under somewhat, the numbers I saw on google re breeding rates for a mouse farm were staggering. However I am a little confused (not by your post) as to how Hemogenyx are doing it.
I am not convinced that Hemogenyx are actually breeding that many mice to sell, I get the feeling that some of the big customers like Orgenesys and Eli Lilley are breeding our mice themselves and we just let them do this for their research and use? I dont know so this is more of a question than a statement.
Do Hemogenyx breed and sell the mice to other pharma to test?
Or
Do Hemogenyx breed only small numbers of mice and supply breeding pairs free of charge with a licencing agreement that any derived products we get royalties of well so far 12%?

Right now I am thinking the second model, if our mice are just that much better than the rest and enable development perhaps as a standard they deserve to be treated as an integral part of product development deserving of royalties and not just like a common replaceable commodity with a fixed unit price.

Hemogenyx got placing funds 3 weeks ago today, if news was expected within 3-4 weeks of placing money IE a big deal or contract that brought with it money they would not have done a placing as no director wants to dilute THEIR stock if they dont have too. So no, an update has not been expected or due up to now.
The GlobalCo news is not due yet, the agreement runs out 14th August I believe, they PROBABLY built in a very big buffer incase covid-19 caused more delays as they wont want to ask for another extension. Global Co news MIGHT come next week but more likely not for another 3-4 weeks.
Global Co news is only tiny fraction of work. You can wake up any day and expect to be smacked in the face with an RNS on ALL(Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia) pre-clinical results, or perhaps approval of Covid-19 vulnerability test, or news that our mice have been used to test a vaccine thats now in phase 2 trials, or news that our Covid-19 antibody is in human trials...
They wanted the placing money to ACCELERATE everything but the GlobalCo news and they said they expect positive results in the coming months. Dont be atall surprised if they have lined EVERYTHING else or a good chunk of it to come to some sort of results around the same time as GlobalCo licencing deal.
I would not be surprised if there is radio silence for another 3 weeks followed by a week of Orphan Drug status, one or two licencing deals announced, Phase 1 trials beginning for AML, futher news on Hu-PHEC and ALL, then an RNS out of the blue that someone like Eli Lilley have made an approach RE takeover.
